we must be very compassionate to a lot of those poor devils, my gosh

i would say half of the nt's out there are beautiful, compassionate, and caring people...we must hail them as necessary to our very lives...we love them dearly

the other half.............welllllllll, lol

we must be compassionate, empathetic, and forgiving to those who:
-chase the endless cycle of materialism.where things consume empty lives and empty souls.....where flashy cars are more important than neglected kids and spouse, where some people are drivin crazy by it................where the ladder of success causes you to step on people and stab their backs to get ahead
- to those poor souls who must bully and pick on those they perceive as weak, only hiding the insecurities and nominalness of their own shallow and misguided lives
- for those who must cheat and steal to get ahead, only to find themselves way behind the pack and miserable

so c'mon autistics.please join me in a pity party for those unfortunate souls, lets show them empathy and understanding

kiss a nuero today, they really need it, lol.....................all my regards.............btw, i really apologize for my typing skills, i am a longhand kinda guy

Should this message be taken as a heavy dose of sarcasm?

But why have empathy for those who harm you? Whether or not they are hurting inside they also have a choice.

I've found that most NTs feel they have a right to hurt me because of the way I would treat them first. Of course being an aspie, the way I treat people first tends to come off a little offensive to them even when I don't mean it to.

God, I hate having Asperger's. :x

Ah, yes - diplomacy....the art of finding the nicest ways to say the nastiest things. ;)

i feel only pity for those people who:

- accuse someone of being a jerk for pointing that they are failures at life and why they are that way.

- assume that ambition means being successful at the expense of others when it actually involves a lot of hard work and dedication to a singular goal.

- are ignored by successful people and consider it being stepped on.

- do not share equally in the wealth of the successful people they work for and consider it being exploited.

- take on a cynical "sour grapes" attitude about success one day and then suck up to successful people the next.

- take out the anger for their personal failures on those who have already surpassed them in every aspect of life.

I like most NT's even if I don't understand them. Some, however, make it hard for me to like them. I have compassion on those whom I have to deal with in a nasty way. I feel bad for people on which I have to use nasty tactics. I do so not for revenge but in order to stop their abuse.

This coming from an NT. How and high and mighty of you. Not that I agree entirely with the statements of the opening poster, but your statements are awful. Don't assume that just because someone is ASD that they have no value or opportunities at success.

And Aspies shouldn't assume that NT's are always out to undermine them and bully them.

It all goes both ways.

Are you Jesus? Only Jesus could be that caring.
I agree with you, but it's hard to be that way towards certain Neurotypicals.

AnAutisticMind, sorry but you're sounding like a complete snob here.

Congratulations! You're a real f*cking prick. Want a medal for that?

I think I need to take a break from WP. This just sucks. :x

It's actually really disarming. The old expression "kill 'em with kindness" really does have truth. Ill will and violence, however, merely escalates. The world is screwed up in large part because we (the world) have escalated violence beyond comprehension.

iMark, of all of the posts that you've made recently, you haven't made one constructive comment. What exactly are you trying to achieve? If you are trying to explain the NT point of view, you're doing a damn awful job of it.

Agreed. I'm glad I'm not the only one who has noticed this.

That's not really empathy, more like condescension.
