*coughs* Not when you've had it for fifteen years and tend to automatically focus on it at any given moment. (Look, it's a Curly-Coated Retriever!)

It gets old. My friends liked me anyway, but I've never really had anyone my age to really discuss my favorite interest with (hell, most people TWICE my age start going glassy-eyed when I try to discuss dogs).

I was told by my shrink that i was "focused" more on my guy friend than anything else and that she would help me unfocus on him and more on school. But personally i like what im "focused" on. And i dont like the fact that she is trying to change that

Actually I agree. I'm not obsessed with anything right now that I can think of (aside from forum lurking maybe). And I would rather be obsessed with something utterly wierd than be bored all the time.

Science, Literature, Theology, Mathematics, Social Science, and World War II are my obsessions.

Yeah, they're weird even for these standards, aren't they?

Alphebatizing books, little kid clothes (for myself), my boyfriend, my truck...I also go in and out of obsessions with what I draw, right now it's Harley Quinn a while ago it was naked people, before that, it was boys with spikey hair, before that faeries, and now it's slowly transitioning into mermaids and pirates. it sucks...but Harley Quinn (villianess from batman) is pretty cool.
