I agree with that too. They could also do Earthbound Zero and Mother 3. |
Yeah forgot to mention those. Looking back over this thread it seems they've already been suggested, so I guess I'll post some more:
Legend of Zelda - What with all the other ports and remakes the series has had, the biggest one having been Ocarina of Time, it sees this title gets neglected quite a bit. While Skyward Sword is my favorite of the series(next to The Wind Waker), I do feel that it is about time we've had a non-linear Zelda title, and if the developers are too incompetent to design a new game this way, then we should at least get an overhaul on an older game. An alternative could be Adventure of Link, which I think could be more enjoyable with today's technology.
Halo 2 - Not exactly old school, but since they remade Combat Evolved I think it's only fair. Maybe I'm a bit biased though, seeing as to how it's my favorite Halo game.
Killer7 - Again, not so old either, but I think it could fit better with the controls the WiiU will introduce, and with Suda51 having gained popularity, it could get the recognition it really deserves. Perhaps it could even have its own spin on the survival mode trends other games have had lately added as a separate mode. |
Interesting you mention Halo 2. I guess I could see a remake of the game like they did with anniversary or an HD remake of it like they are doing with HD collections now. I'm not a fan of Halo, but I think it would be good to see. _________________ Always open to PM's. |

I think that Gradius V is probably the most underrated PS2 game. |
Yep. Easily the best Gradius game after the first. It's a bit of a shmup masterpiece for me, I prefer it to Ikaruga. |

Half Life was already remade twice as Half Life: Source and Black Mesa: Source although they have yet to develop the Xen chapters for Black Mesa. _________________ Is it me or do these coincidentally suspicious events in my life seem a little "coincidentally suspicious"? |

either that or Zombies ate my neighbors. |
Definitely Zombies Ate My Neighbors. Someone already decided the game's engine. Maybe some cutscenes and decent voice acting. I was thinking at the top of my head two modes for the game.
Classic Mode - The original style gameplay with awesome CGI graphics.
Challenge Mode - gameplay featuring the old 3rd person camera behind player view. _________________ Is it me or do these coincidentally suspicious events in my life seem a little "coincidentally suspicious"? |

With Megaman's 25th anniversary. I was thinking. A fan took Megaman 7 and Megaman 8 and turned them into what they would look like on the famicom. I was thinking take Megaman 9 and 10 and turn them into a style exceeding Megaman 8. I really liked the style of Megaman X8 graphics and physics wise. For Megaman 9, I have no idea yet. Protoman's story I don't know either. Bass story for Megaman 10 is simple: Prove to be better than Megaman and destroy all robot masters before he does. They meet at Wily Tower and fight as usual. Bass' ending I don't know how to match up towards the game's true ending since he just leaves Wily for dead. I also had the thought of some voicing acting during boss fights in both games. Lines would occur for the player's character depending on the player's health as well as the boss' health. Bass could do trash talk at the robot masters and Wily during boss fights. Megaman being pacifistic, I haven't thought of what he could say yet other than references to Robot Masters of the past. The rushed ending of Megaman 10 can be extended to Wily leaving behind a letter to Megaman saying despite all he's done they still showed him hospitality and he may consider rethinking his evil ways but don't count it for he'll be back again. For cutscenes, they'll be better than what Megaman 8 had. Music will be arranged versions of both games' OST. I have a lot more ideas on this but most of them keep fading. _________________ Is it me or do these coincidentally suspicious events in my life seem a little "coincidentally suspicious"? |

Seconded! They should also re-release every Wing Commander in a mega-pack like the Kilrathi Saga. WC1 & 2 should be redone with modern graphics though. _________________ Protest the WP favoritism and bullying!

A remake of Final Fantasy VII with updated graphics would make it absolutely perfect, in my humble opinion. _________________ And now you will listen to our kitty muse... |
