NO! It's mainly a bunch of angry guys who can't sing, they just scream and yell unintelligibly in horrible voices. There are many songs or types of songs that make me very uncomfortable and just to be in their presence and keep me from concentrating or enjoying other things. Just this past Monday for example, my mother and I went to BK for lunch and they're playing AC/DC in the background. It was like someone was sticking nails into my brain! wall

Then why are you here? Don't stereotype and if you don't like it, don't listen. Simples! What do you like then? Enthrall us....

The best part about about mental is that it can help relieve yourself .
Like for instance. When I'm done loads of paperwork , I listen some of heavy mental .i just feel awesome while the sounds hit my brain.

2 more stereotypes? *yawn* Couldn't give a toss really, most of we metal fans don't need you naysayers and killjoys, leave us to enjoy our music and you enjoy yours. Lostonearth has major issues anyway, judging by all her previous comments.....

Dude, I'm entitled to my opinion just as you are entitled to yours. No need to get so defensive just because I have different music taste to you.

And there is nothing wrong with that, i just tend to get a tad carried away. It's the stereotype that i cannot stand, and Lostonearth needs professional help. Nuff said.

How this is screaming rather than singing? I myself am not close minded enough to hate on harsh vocals, but if you personally don't like them there is plenty of metal without them.

I just pisses me of how ignorant people get these extreme biases against genres after listening to two bands. Do you really think that's enough for a conclusion?

Metal doesn't have the monopoly on being "heavy". GSYBE and Mogwai can get pretty damn loud and noisy.
