| i have a niece who was born on friday the 13th but she seems to have led a fairly ok lucky life so far, god-willing. as for me, i stayed indoors all day, just to stay on the safer side of things. i would've gone out and rode bike for 2 hours like i did yesterday in the middle of a rainstorm, but i decided not to push my luck. |

Here's a Friday the 13th tale for you all. I thought that Ray Davies was going to be in Vancouver in September and that tickets went on sale on today. It turns out that he's in Vancouver tonight. I couldn't afford tickets when they went on sale a couple of months ago. I'm going to miss a great show. I don't really care for Friday the 13th.

| i accidentally had to go out today to do some errands, i promised some good WPers some CDs i made for 'em would be mailed today of all days, so i had to keep my word to 'em. thankfully nothing major went wrong on the 13th, just lots of little things went snafu on me. but i got home as quickly as i could and stayed indoors in air-conditioned comfort, skipping my usual early evening outdoor workout, to avoid the sudden storms that swept through the area an hour after i got home, full of rain squalls and booming thunder and flashing lightning, as though it was the god of friday the 13th reminding us to beware. |
