I know it doesn't help your case, but for everyone else, if you don't put your business on the internet, you shouldn't have to worry about this problem to begin with.

Unfortunately you don't need to put anything on the internet, it is done for you by various entities -- government, clubs, charities, even sloppy businesses. Remember most records today are on computers and most computers are connected to the internet. BIG BROTHER is watching ! !!

You need to explain what you mean by "high tech" stalkers if you want help. I am sure there are more than a couple members on here with information assurance interests that could help out.

meaning they have GPS devises and such things, and they usually show up where we a going before we even get there. Even traveling cross country, it doesnt take them long to find us. Many of our conversations that we had in private are repeated back to us by strangers in public. It gets more detailed than that but you kinda get the idea.

Well, do not carry a cell phone... do not make your itinerary known... follow different routes to places each time. Look into getting a device that can pick up hidden microphones. In a pinch I think you can take a simple radio or wireless telephone and "scan" all the surfaces/walls looking for an interruption (a series of beep like noises). Most obviously seek legal intervention. Maybe buy new computers and any networking gear you have. Make sure not to "contaminate" them with any files from your old systems

I don't mean any offense, that sounds similar to a paranoid psychotic episode, which is seen around here occasionally. Have both and or your mom seen and heard this?, as in either you observed it and your mom verified it, or your mom saw it and you verified it?

Good news! Talk to the FBI.

I have a military background so I may be able to help. It would help if you could be more specific as to 1) who's stalking her? 2) how? 3) why? as well as where and when. I can't help you with something so vague.

conduct your conversations over OTR.
better yet, PGP.

use Live Linux cd's for your operating system if you cannot wipe your hard drive and start over.

unfortunately, you will be unable to find gps devices planted on your vehicle, so either buy a new one (in cash) and don't register it.
sell it before the 30 days is up and buy another.

yeah, its expensive but you're living in a post 1984 world today.

You want to go underground. Fake your own death and deal with others only in cash or anonymously. Stay offline and never give an address only your mail. Use a P.O. box instead.

Even high-tech stalkers don't know where you're going before you go there (unless you're following a routine). Likewise, how would they get strangers to repeat your conversations, and what would be the objective?
Having a tendancy towards paranoia myself, I hate to say anyone else is being paranoid. However, I think I would be remiss not to suggest a visit to a psychiatrist in this case.

I am back,....thanks for all the advice. I will indeed have to make some sacrifices when I am ready to go underground.
I am okay as I will be, Inventor... I am alot tougher than I seem, kinda like a willow tree....thrash around in a storm, but never break.
I think I am going to get a class ring for my graduation from the school of hard knocks.

Mom wanted to leave me in Oklahoma with my natural father who has connections with the local police there so he can keep me safe while she kills herself. I told her that I would not allow her to do that, simply not an option. So I am back home now.

How do you fake your own death??
Will a counter-survelence bug finder be able to locate GPS on a vehicle? I dont have the cash to plop down for a new vehicle.
