Yeah, like the Super Bowl or a NASA shuttle launch. One of those communal, mass-experiences that weave individuals into the fabric of society together...Um, never mind.
No, but really it was fun to watch, wait, and share w/others. Now for the after-the-adventure anticlimax where the numbers go back to being just "ho-hum". Kinda' like how birthdays (and milestones of that sort) get after a while. (smiley face)

Had to say this, since I didn't see it mentioned yet.
Now it's month & a half later (from April 1st & 10,000 mark)-membership count is at 10,997.
3 short of 11,000.
Gosh...
Kinda' like watching the digits/numbers on car odometer roll over, can't keep myself from constantly checking while waiting for the change.

Sorry to bring up a dead topic but its on the same page so 
It is about a year later and we have 8,055 more members. This site grows quick, I hope I can particpate in the 20,000 countdown
