Jay Leno. I don't know why, but I find Conan O'Brien somewhat irritating. Although next year he'll be the only one of the 2 left.

Not crazy about either. Leno was part of the whole NBC conspiracy that screwed David Letterman, and Dave has always seemed to be a genuinely decent guy.
Personally I think Craig Ferguson does the funniest monologue of anyone in late night. And most of it seems to be ad-libbed.
Still, I miss Johnny Carson. There'll never be another like him.
BTW, what the hell ever happened to Arsenio Hall?

Conan. I only watch Jay when there's a band I like on. Letterman's funny too. I dislike Carson Daly (just who decided he's funny?) and I find Jimmy Kimmel and Craig Ferguson pretty meh, but Ferguson's monologues are always very good.
btw to answer Willard's question, Arsenio got cancelled in 95 or so. Right now that show's a footnote in history for two things: 1. Clinton playing the sax and 2. The American television debut of a little band called Radiohead back in 1993.

Conan O'Brien. I just think he's funnier--the only part of Leno I watch is the "Headlines" on Monday nights.
I'd be willing to bet that when Conan takes over Leno's spot, Leno will get a show on another network. But I guess that's just speculation. |

I (thread starter) personally prefer Conan O'brien 100x more than Jay Leno. Jay Leno is way too predictable, his humour is overly conservative and he seems kind of narrow minded. I still watch him from time to time though if there is nothing better on TV at the moment.
Oh, and Jimmy Kimmel, l have to agree with everyone else and give him a meh. He's mediocre at best but can occasionally be funny. |

Yep I think Conan is funnier the only part of Jay Leno that I watch is monday night's headlines which are hilarious to me for whatever reason
