|
|
I'm doing a project about protesthic legs (How do you spell it?), and although I've found a lot of information about the materials needed for a protesthic leg, I can't find a site that will explain HOW it works (for the physics part)
If you could help me find a book or a website explaining this, I would be so grateful! _________________ "You can do the math a thousand way, but you can't undo the past"

Sorry, I'm not good at spelling
We're not allowed to use Wiki as a source, as it's too "unreliable" _________________ "You can do the math a thousand way, but you can't undo the past"

Never cite an encyclopedia as your primary source, instead use the materials it refers you to.
Also google is your friend. _________________ Autie was I ere I saw Eitua |

I did use google, but the language was difficult to understand from the websites I found. I'll check Wiki though to see if they refer me to a credible site or two _________________ "You can do the math a thousand way, but you can't undo the past"

ebec11 - I'll bet there is a prosthetic's clinic nearby. I'm sure they would be happy to show/help you and that way you could actually see 'how' and the process. Check in your local area! I think most clinicians/doctor's would be hapy to share with a curious student, even flattered. Ask! _________________ same nightmare, different nap

Thanks guys I don't think I have enough time now to go to a clinic (it's two weeks away) but that http://health.howstuffworks.com/biomechatronics.htm website was very useful (and I enjoy much of the rest of the site too!) _________________ "You can do the math a thousand way, but you can't undo the past"
