I've been in n institution but they were only acute type of places, one where you were discharged after 2 weeks either back home or to the street or to another institution, the other one where you were discharged to the street after 7 days whether you were cured or not. Smile

I'd really like to be in an institution, and permanently too. A lot of people would call it a waste of potential. It seems like society isn't yet equipped to know what to do with some of us.

Funnily enough, I wouldn't mind how Rain Man had it setup. As long as I had my own room/bathroom (better if it's separated from the main body; like little worker's houses), I'd get used to the routine. I'd much rather that than a group environment [and a government run institution].

I didn't mind my month long stay in one (private); the only thing that bothered me was not having my mother there (which kinda made it unbearable in reality, but I worked out a routine, so I managed).
