I did mention both problems separately. In Detroit, middle class whites as well as upwardly mobile blacks fled to the suburbs in droves during the 1960s, leaving nothing but a poor underclass without its educated peers. Many manufacturing jobs were lost in the city. In addition, many small business owners went elsewhere, fearing for their lives. Much of this stemmed from the riots and resulting racial tensions. The rioters had no excuse to torch the city into flames. I see poverty as no excuse to commit arson or to rape or murder innocent people. |
I agree with you, though perhaps I look at it from a slightly different angle. It seems we share many of the same concerns. |

Certain immigration is a drop of poison to a society. There are some good muslims, but those are the ones who are not very religious. I'm not saying this from a western heritage point of view. The japanese have well founded xenophobia. I would say that even European or Canadian immigration would poison their ancient civilized culture to a point of no return.
P.S. No racial undertones intended.

Hell, why don't we just bring all the different native american cultures back for some of us living in the U.S. and Canada. Maybe that would help in this confusion most people seem to have in "Keeping their heritage and culture"...in a country filled with a many generations of immigrants, cultures, and religions. I mean this crap about american or western culture confuses me anymore since there's so many countries in the east that have adapted much of our western culture.

Yeah, my views have nothing to do with the availabilty heuristic or mistaking a supposed stereotype as being common. People might not want to admit that (gasp) a certain stereotype might just actually be true or that a certain group of people may be responsible for a problem. |

I don't care what colour/creed/theology you belong to, as long as you don't be stepping on me or my peeps.
Also what exactly is "white heritage" because yes in Europe we do have quite a long history, but for America and the other European colonies, what exactly does this mean to people? |

some "Free" forums end up full of racist discussion/arguments. But it tends to have 'blatant' racists in the minority and most are probably doing it to troll others.

I admire Chinese and Japanese and Indian society.
But I admire Irish folk music, German philosophy, Italian art etc.
I am an Aryan, Teutonic, Indo Eoropean etc.
We invented science, modern medicine, the industrial revolution, the radio, aircraft, computers, etc etc.
I am damned if I will feel ashamed of what we have achieved. |

+10000. Without the extremely advanced cultured of India and the Middle East, Europe would have never left its form of ignorant Christianity and fiefdoms. For all of the unfounded criticisms of Islam that I hear daily, they accomplished alot more than Christians have. Most of the famous Euro scientists were atheists or agnostic. Islam preaches discovery and knowledge. Some hardliner ironically dont understand that. To the poster who posted about poison before, you are judging religious Muslims too negatively and I doubt that you even personally know one...

On the other hand you getting mad at me for saying it, why would you be mad? you just said it right? if they say it is because you are white then they are actually being racist towards you.
they call each other a n**gers and they are black, when a white person, even one of their friends, says the same thing they get mad because a white guy said it, in this way blacks are more racist against white people then vice versus.
getting away from slang, the word nigger actually doesnt have any racial implications, its true meaning is someone who does not work, ie-lazy, more white people fit this description from what I see
All in all there really is no difference, in all races/colors/nationalities, there are some winners and A LOT of losers
