Strangers on the internet are not the people you should be asking. You should be asking your doctor; that way you can check it is not caused by any potentially serious condition and you may be given advice or medicine to stop these 'hallucinations' from happening. _________________ I'm Aspie when I'm stressed.

Thanks guys, I've made an appointment, but I do believe they are probably migraine auras without headache reading some info. As for asking strangers on the internet...I know that people with ASD's sometimes suffer from colour sensitivity, and have trouble with fluorescent lighting, so I thought it maybe related to this, or perhaps stress. I didn't want to bother my doc unnessassarily; I've seen him more in the last 5 months than I've seen him in my whole life! _________________ "dattebayo!"!!!!!! |

I know how difficult it can be to see the GP, but this is something you really must consider. What your experiencing sounds a lot like photosensitive epilepsy or migranes. Both these conditons vary in severity.
Don't be palmed off with anti depressants, GP's like to dish them out for almost anything these days. You must tell them about the vomiting and other physical symptoms too, as a lot of neurological disorders can cause things like this.
You should ask to be refered to a neurologist before you accept any medications. If the doctor refuses, ask why. They may well want to do some bloods to check your overall health before they do anything else too just to check for things like thyroid & liver function etc.
That is usualy the first thing they do. |
