I like really light colours of yellow, blue, green, grey. When I like the feel of certain materials I can see those colours. I call them 'safe colours'. _________________ Don't count your problems, count your blessings

I have ordinary likes and dislikes with color.
Natural "cool" colors (blue, green, brown) are pleasing and calming to me.
Very bright or "warm" colors (orange, red, yellow) are a bit unpleasant.
But I don't have some overwhelming reaction to color.
I believe this is because I am NOT a visual person. I've always had poor eyesight, and never relied much on visual input. Besides that, I do have an overwhelming disposition towards sound and hearing. I'd much rather be blind than deaf. _________________ Plantae/Magnoliophyta/Magnoliopsida/Fabales/Fabaceae/Mimosoideae/Acacia |

I don't dislike any particular colors, but I am attracted to pastels and vivid, bright colors. Powder blue is my favorite. I also like clothes that have subtle patterns/motifs.
I do find it highly impractical to wear dark colors. I make my initial choices based on how practical it is, then I choose the color I like the most. I've had color obsessions in my life that differed greatly from all this, but I eventually grew out of them. _________________ Why be a label, be yourself and keep others guessing instead. - Dee_. |

I tend to like the cool colors at the end of the spectrum the most (teal blue, blue, and purple). Also, I like bright colors. My least favorite colors tend to be earth colors (olive green and yellow orange), pastels, and the color pink. However, I do like pink when either mixed with black, or with maroon, grey, and white.
Bergundy, magenta, and maroon are also up there with my favorites. |

I really like cirtrus colours like orange, yellow, lime gree etc. And I really like neons too and also black. Basically anything bold.
Pastels and neutrals are a bit bleh. _________________ ... Maybe he thought you were ugly |

| Sometimes when I see red against a blue background it almost looks like the red is moving about...its a weird sensation and tend to distract me. |

PURPLE!!!
Anything purple draws my eye to it...
Driving down the road chatting to my partner i haveta stop mid sentence and say "purple car" when one goes by - i completely fail to notice the colour of any other cars though...
Shopping i buy the brand with the purple label - or something purple that leaps off a shelf at me even though i already have one in another colour...
My house is filled with purple things - 90% of my clothes are purple (the rest are black or white) and all my artwork has at least some purple in it...
Even my garden is filled with purple plants and flowers - and dont visit me with a purple lighter in your pocket - it wont go home with you
Hehe - even my puter is purple
Other colours get rated by how well they go with purple - black and sunshine yellow go good - so does grass green - red and blue are a bit off - and orange is horrid... (unless the orange is in a flame like someone earlier said in which case it looks yummy enough to eat) and dark brown is ok (its just a bit of yellow added to purple)
I'm easy to shop for - just buy me something purple and i'm happy |

I love bright colors. I have a "phobia" of the color orange. _________________ Emily Rose Campbell |
