A few of us are looking at an Aspie Guild on WoW. But others can do what they want on other games too. Smile

Unfortunately WoW does not appeal to me, & I don't want to pay every month for a game. I wish ppl would either join me on Jade Dynasty, or get another free game that is fun or something.

LOL

This thread reminds me of trying to organise a WP gathering in real life! Smile Some people want to meet in the sun and warmth of the south of europe, others fancy the north, scandinavia, etc while for others it "has" to be in London, but just for the day, and then there's the issue of whether it's going to be in a big exciting city/town with lots to do and see, or somewhere quiet and peaceful and beautiful in the countryside, and then there's people who won't consider travelling for anything smaller than 15, or 35, or even 100 people, and others who won't come to something if there's going to be more than a handful of people. So, last year 8 of us met in Avignon, ( and about the same number of people meet once a month in London for the day, thanks to Lotusblossom ) ... but I don't think that I'm going to try and organise another one-off meet-up!

NB. I think the thing which made the 3-4 day/long weekend Avignon meet-up happen was that one person committed to a meet somewhere that another person could get to no problems, and some others then fell in with that. We were a very mixed bunch! Very Happy

So I suggest that if you want this guild to happen, one at least of you has to commit to joining one other person on the same server of the same game, and continue talking about it so others can join you.

I used to play on Runescape, but never joined a guild; I was a lone explorer type, and liked it that way. Very Happy And I loathed Guild Wars; you can't just go wandering around, in "quests" you have to have a tedious bunch of fake people dancing around you all the time, and the place was sooo empty, way too "tidy" and "organised".
.

Hi, unfortunately I am on the east coast of USA, so a European meetup would not work for me anyway. Sad Anyway, does anyone play Jade Dynasty on the Billows (USA east) server?

I see it like this, the best option is for an all games guild, that means ANY game, including FPSes, RTSes, etc. This way, no one is left out.

I just wish that ppl here would go on Jade Dynasty Billows server w/ me. The current guild I am in now, nobody pays attention to me. I ask a question & I am like, ignored! Only my master in the guild, Ziest, pays attention WHEN & IF she is online. Sad

I know just the game for you guys. Ultima Online.

http://www.uosecondage.com/

I play on a free server called Ultima Online Second Age(UOSA) which mimics how the game was back in 1998 on live servers when it had the best game play, mechanics and community.

This server is fun, this is actually the original MMORPG game. This game came out in 1997 and is still the best game out.

Some key features and things you can do in Ultima Online Second Age:
1. - Player housing, can own ships, castles, large houses, towers, ect. Can own a vendor shop.
2. - freedom to attack whoever you want, with consequence against your karma if you do too many bad deeds. No carebear crap like WOW.
3. Fantastic pvp with skill and fun too.
4. Real communities and struggles, no item-based pvp and crappy monotonous questing like in other MMORPGS
5. Can loot all equipment of fallen players, since the game isn't item-based equipment is not as big of a loss as in WOW or other MMORPGS.
6. The original MMORPG, still the best
7. can be a crafter and have a gathering skill. Mining, blacksmithing, lumberjacking, carpentry(to make furnature for player houses, anvils and other stuff that crafters and traders use), alchemy, animal taming(sell horses, tame dragons and such or exotic creatures).
8. Explore many dungeons and parts of the world. The world in Ultima Online is a sandbox, it's actually a globe. if you sail from one island through the sea you'll hit the same continent you're on on the other side just like earth. It's cool, and the world is quite big.

Come play! You can download the game here free and it explains how to make your account which is really easy. You just need the game, a program called razor to connect to the server and bam you're in. Just follow the instructions on this site. Trust me, you don't wanna miss this.

Here's a screenshot of the actual gamesize window along with character status, equipment/item bag.
Takes us too much of screen so just click this link:

Here's cutout clips of screenshots of took of battles and cool stuff or just hangin out at the bank in town:

I've been playing that game since 1998, trust me it's kept my attention that long.

UO Second Age is the best Ultima Online server out there right now. It has a large player-base and is extremely accurate to 1998 style UO.

The live servers right now aren't worth it, so never think about trying those. Plus you pay 10$ for a game that isn't as good as it was in the golden era of 1998.

So yea, everyone install this game, trust me it's awesome. It's the most imersive online RPG world yet and it's 2d.

Don't be fooled by the graphics though, the game has lots of detail and gameplay value. The community is nice too, very aspie friendly at times but of course there are players that grief but I bet some of them are even aspies = P

Does anyone play WoW on an EU server? I have a level 50 night elf hunter and a level 25 Tauren druid on Deathwing and play some lower level characters on the French server Illidan. Be happy to switch over to another sever though.

Play UO guys, play that server I posted...it's free.

WOW is a waste of time, it's not even fun.

UO has gameplay, fun and community.
