New Socks: I hate how soft/squishy/form-fitting they are - it feels like there are slugs crawling on my feet.
Soft-soled running shoes - I feel like I have even less ballance when I wear these, and they are bad for your feet, knees and back (and may reduce the rate at which one's osteoblasts lay down calcium in the bones). I wear work or go barefoot.
Most soft synthetic fabrics
Ties and shirts with the top button buttoned - they feel like they are strangling me.
Shorts - constantly feel like they are falling down
I also don't like to wear shirts with a lot of writing on them. _________________ ... leave me alone, and I should relish every hour and what it brought me...

| blue jeans. hate them with a passion (on me, other people can pull them off). Those are work pants, made out of fabric that hates the human body. Just about all fasteners...most of my basic clothing is fastener free. They always irritate me in some way or another. I like drawstrings, and can tolerate elastic that is sewn in to the wasteband, like in gym pants, as long at it is not tight. Any gathers like pleats, darts, etc. Basically anything, lol. |

| I hate tight jeans. They are very uncomfortable. I always wear big wide jeans that are too big for me, I just wear a belt and the problem is solved. It's not that I would buy tight jeans, I didn't; it's just that I bought jeans that were my size because I'm skinny and they felt very uncomfortable. Plus I think big wide jeans look better anyways. For some strange reason the young teen guys of today seem to like the really tight ones and I can't understand why; these kids and those fads. |

Oh I agree totally. They must have no balls, or at least, want them to suffocate...
I am the same way, I love my baggy jeans. |

Can't handle anything with too high a wool content, especially angora and don't like lace against my skin. Don't wear heels because they make me feel uncomfortable and accentuate my extreme clumsiness. _________________ -M&S

Anything that is too tight. I always buy things at least two sizes larger than my actual size or else I feel as if I am being suffocated. Back when we lived in the boonies, I NEVER wore shoes. Hats, hoods or anything on my head, anything on my hands such as gloves (my surgery rotation is going to be a blast ), anything with lace, buttons, embrodery or any kind of texture. _________________ I'm not weird, you're just too normal. |

I hate shirts with collars and clothes made of synthetic materials in general...
And tight clothes are no-no too.
Sigh, I have too many clothes that I don't like... _________________ Ex amicitia vita |

I don't care for the tight fitting clothes that they make for women, these days. I buy most of my clothes at a specialty store for plus sized women, and at that store, I still pick out the most unisex looking clothes. The only femminine thing that I like to wear are frilly ruffled dress shirts, being that The Kinks wore those in 64-66, and I'm the world's biggest Kinks fan, right now. I feel that I'm a man trapped in a woman's body, and i affectionately refer to myself as Mick Avory due to my looks...I have looks...and the fact that I wish to be a man. I'm afraid that if I look female, than I will be expected to act female and even strangers know that's too much to expect from the likes of me. _________________ The darling, unworldly Mick Avory with hands like shovels, who wouldn't dare choose to hurt a soul: I'm the cuddly, adorable Kink. Don't worry. to me, you're yourself and nobody will change your individuality. So just be yourself.
The Kinks rule, just to add. _________________ Ex amicitia vita |

I really only wear loose-fitting clothes. Only exception I can think of is underarmor. _________________ When I allow it to be

Where do I start?
I don't do shorts. To me, guys in shorts just look like they've lost their trousers. And those men who wear their trousers with the waistband halfway down their buttocks (apparently to show off their designer underpants), they just look completely stupid to me. I used to wear tight trousers, but I began to feel hypocritical doing that, because of my strong views against women doing the same thing in the context of monogamy. I miss the way nothing ever fell out of my pockets though. Don't get me started on "coin-catcher" pockets.
Talking of underpants, well-constructed y-front briefs are the only thing for me. No embarrassing "pop-out."
I don't like any material that's not really soft. Hate baseball caps. Hate most modern suits but I'd happily wear a mid-Victorian suit if I could get a good comfy one cheap. Hate modern ties. Hate shoes that are too heavy (makes me clumsy), hate shoes that are too thin in winter (I detest having cold feet). Hate drab colours, though I love black.
I don't feel right unless I've tucked my shirt into my trousers - maybe it stops the waistband digging into my flesh.
I also hate those identity card badges that so many organisations make people wear to prove they're not terrorists......they just get in the way. If I ever get forced to wear one again, I'll have to get one made from cloth so that it's less obtrusive. Maybe sew it onto a shirt.
Don't like slogans on clothing, unless the slogan is one of my own. The ones they put on off-the-peg shirts just don't do it for me.
I was quite into sports clothes until it became fashionable to wear them outside the realm of sport.
Don't like most modern coats either. |

Here's my list of hates:
1. Anything with polyester, wool or viscose
2. Dresses or skirts
3. Uncomfortable shoes (no high heels)
4. Plunging necklines
5. Tight Jeans
6. Bright colours
7. Itchy tags
8. Starched clothes
9. Shiny materials
10 Stripey, plaid or spotty clothing
List of loves:
1. Cotton (esp. more expensive cotton)
2. Black
3. Comfortable, well fitting jeans
4. Polo or turtle necks
5. Simple shoes that aren't too heavy
I thinks I'm pretty sensitive to touch which makes shopping difficult. Always seem to go shopping and only come home with one thing.
I've had some of my shirts for years |
