I personally have never encountered a truly trustworthy man who would want to be my man. Therefore, the reliability and trustworthiness of some fine men I've known has been of very limited use to me.
Sometimes it seems we must just accept whatever/whoever is available, and demanding more than someone else has to actually offer is unreasonable ... and I certainly do understand the field often seems well-picked. I just happen to believe it is some kind of travesty when a woman finds herself in a position where compromises begin for the sake of protecting a long-running investment in the face of some newly-discovered low character. I am certainly no "prime catch" myself, but I do at least understand the kind of integrity required for the sake of my dear wife's sense of security.
