I have not seen the sun for three days, and I realize you people in the Southern Hemisphere are hogging all the sunshine, and now you have two cosmic mega heat furnaces!! !! !! ! Please share!! It is so gloomy in winter up north.

Instead of just ridiculing the original poster over details, why don't you check the footage that I linked to, that matches up with the dates she took the photos?

After being sparked in interest on this, it appears that this is not the first time that something of this sort has happened. Those who do not believe in UFO's/USO's, what's your theory on what it is?

No jest topic

I would never ridicule anything by Hale_Bopp. I have always enjoyed her posts. I have no idea who you are.

I did check the footage, and I remain unconvinced. If the sun does finally shine through I will check how many suns I see.

Well, obviously, it is not a second sun, as that is out of logic. However, it is something, and it is not an asteroid or comet; at least in the footage, which, again, is from the same period as her photos, so I'd assume it must be the same in regards to her photos.

It doesn't matter who I am... I'm not trying to advertise myself, here; just thought I would share some interesting findings, relevant to this thread.

Those who may be interested in taking their own photos of this, if the phenomenon still goes on, or will happen at a later point, should be warned that looking into the zoomed in sun with a camera can cause instant eye damage. And if you use the camera's screen for viewing, instead, when you zoom in on it, to avoid eye damage, the camera's sensor may instead very quickly become damaged. If you decide to take photos, use the screen to look at the sun, instead of through the eyepiece, and keep the camera directed towards the sun in very brief moments, like a second, and then let the sensor cool for a little while before you take any more photos.

Anyone seen it yet? There seems to be another star caught in orbit of our sun. It's not just bullsh*t, because I have taken several photos of it to accompany all the videos and photos taken all over the world of the second sun, the "dark star" or the "nemesis star".

If you don't believe me, grab a digi cam and take some pics of the sun on a clear day. You should be able to see the nemsis star in your photos.

Even better, if you have a camera with zoom, you will be able to get a video like this one where the sunlight gets filtered out and the nemesis star is a lot clearer and obviously a seperate entity and NOT a planet.

here are 3 of my shots- two taken yesterday and one today from my outdoor area. The image is of the sun, with the second sun visible very close to it and very small:

And here is a video taken with a camera with zoom:

Ignore the planet x part I have yet to see solid proof of that yet but All the proof is there on the second sun. It would surely explain global warming over the past couple of decades - its approach.

At night there are at least 8000 suns visible to the naked eye.

But relax. There is only one sun at the center of the solar system. Do not be misled by optical anomalies.

Sooner or later Betelgeuse will run out of juice.........

Quote:
Earth could be getting a second sun, at least temporarily.

Dr. Brad Carter, Senior Lecturer of Physics at the University of Southern Queensland, outlined the scenario to news.com.au. Betelgeuse, one of the night sky's brightest stars, is losing mass, indicating it is collapsing. It could run out of fuel and go super-nova at any time.

When that happens, for at least a few weeks, we'd see a second sun, Carter says. There may also be no night during that timeframe......

As for the optical phenomenon cited by hale_bopp it is just that an optical illusion...

I heard that somewhere else in the galaxy a star nearing super nova was due to have a period of strong brightness and expansion for a while before exploding. This was not due till late 2012 though.

If this was the case though i am sure we would all have been told by now.
