| I spent last weekend listening to nothing but Weezer, nonstop. It's starting to fade a little, but still dominant. |

Can't think of any (yeah right)
Umm ... well here's a list of things I have been or am currently INTERESTED in (but my wife says are obsessional)
Road Wars (and similar police documentary series)
Judge Judy
Monk (OCD detective series)
Really Useful Boxes
Building Computers, taking them apart and reusing the parts to build other computers.
Building Computers out of free components or bits bought off eBay for a maximum of 99p.
Building Computers to run with the lowest power consumption
Building Computers to run with the lowest noise
Fixing Computers (for friends / local school)
Computer components (especially disks, Intel processors and memory chips)
MythTV - I now have a MythTV system with 8Terabytes of RAID5 (fault tolerant) storage and (in theory) can record 20 programs simultaneously.
CCTV (since we were burgled)
Rewriting Perl computer programs for clarity (again and again and again.... got to do this as a job for a while which was great)
Teddy Bears (hence the username)
Early Learning Centre Happy Tracks train set - building configurations where the train makes progression through sequences of sidings/loops like a binary counter. My wife can't see the attraction, for me it is the predictability of the system.

Let's see..
I'm happy to say AS! That's because my previous and most prominent obsession has been figuring out what's wrong with me
I've also been trying to figure out politics for the past few months, due to the presidential election coming up probably. (RON PAUL ftw!)
others include, but are not limited to:
guitar (alternating from covering songs to making my own)
psychology (constantly trying to diagnose everyone)
philosophy
religion
stock market-Terrible idea, no logic behind it at all,. ha
Movies
drugs (not taking, more like pharmacology)
weed and weed politics
documentaries
fixing things, especially at work
also work I think, trying different ways to make things go smoother and more productively, Pondering on how the owners could run a better company
oh, and i was hooked on runescape off and on for like 6 years... not so much the last couple months since i moved out and I still haven't gotten around to buying a computer table so I don't use the computer much..I hope that one doesn't resurface! such a time waster.. |

Online Poker
Psychology
Stoicism
Reading news online
Self-help books
Science Channel
Discovery Channel
History Channel (especially ww2 stuff)
Dexter (series about a stoic serial killer who kills serial killers)
movies with Stoic characters- Gone Baby Gone, Rounders, Gladiator (off the top of my head)
I always tell people I'm boring even though most people find me interesting and fun. I look at my list and it confirms it
I don't even like going out... |

jazz
bebop
soul
hip-hop
graffiti
rapping
producing
cooking
certain video games
certain TV shows.
certain movies.
writing.
aspergers
social interaction
drugs (yes, taking them. Also researching deeply into their history chemical make-up and effects. Ask me anything about Dextromethorphan hydrobromide/polystirex)
writing
lyrics...
drawing
this site
myself
my family
my dog
a whole slew of other stuff I don't have on my mind right now.
It alternates between pretty much this stuff. I get stuck on one and stay with it for a week or 2 then get reminded of another and do the same thing.
This is how my life has continued since I was self-aware. The only thing that changes are the subjects and how I look. It's pretty weird, but hey, that's life. A weird confusing place I don't fully yet understand. Know one does. We try, but no one does. Biggie and Tupac planned each other's deaths. Look it up... Not really I just made that up. Their deaths were entirely sensible. Rich black men living in a developing society still recovering from racial tension and economic crisis. Idk I must sleep now. _________________ "If I could get away with murder, I'd take my gun and commit it." |

I love Alligators! I love all sorts of animals but my favorite at the moment is alligators. I go to spend time with them when ever I can at Paynes Prairie. I even sat down next to a 9ft alligator for an hour and a half. The largest one was a 14ft alligator that casually walked right past me.
Other obsessions: Music,Cars,Gargoyles and everything to do with nature! |

Yep. This is me. The moment I find something interesting and want to learn just a tad little bit about it, I'm usually off and running with it from anywhere from the next couple of hours to the next couple of years. I was curious how planes flew, so I signed up for flight school and learned.
I got into tools and woodworking, and wanted to get into mechanics (yes, auto mechanics) about a year ago until I lost my friend that was also into that stuff, and now it pains me to think about those things even though I loved them sooooo much while learning about them.
I just picked back up cross stitch after a friend of mine keeps talking about hers. It's been 20 years since I last did cross stitch and now I hate that I have to put it down to accomplish other things, like the whole eating and sleeping and going to work kind of activities.
My long-term is puzzles of all sorts, which is how I got into cognitive psychology and A.I., because those are two puzzles that I would LOVE to solve. I also love creating things, building things, and putting things together. I love solving problems as long as I can think of it as a puzzle to be solved, like setting up accounting systems at work, but I don't like the maintenance stage of such systems, as that gets ridiculously boring and I need the constant stimulation. When helping people move, my roommate will find out that things need to be taken apart and put back together in the new location or things organized a certain way, so she has a habit of saving those things for me for when I show up, because most other people grumble about having to do those kinds of things, versus "just point me to the box and I'll move it". |

| I'm currently between obsessions. My old ones are boring to the person i am now, somethings sorta changed me over the last year and now i'm looking for something new . I think i might end up trying something i didn't have patience for when i was younger, im spending a lot of time atm reexamining things i've previously passed over because at the time i passed over them i knew that my general youthful impatience wouldn't let me get the most out of the interest. |
