what works for me [since none of my WP buttons work] is to right-click over the photo i wish to paste later into WP, which brings up a pop-up menu that has "properties" as the very last selection at the bottom- left-click properties and the properties box pops up- about midway down the box [beneath image type] you'll see "image [address] url" with something that looks [for example] something like -
http: // www . photo site.com/ photographic example/picture.jpg [spaces added intentionally so WP won't think this is an actual link]
highlight that by clicking and dragging your mouse over its full length, even if it takes up 3 lines or more [some image urls are very bulky], then right click to select "copy" then go back to the WP message posting window, type in [img] then right click or hit ctrl+v to paste the image url you just copied from the other webpage, then type [/img]. then hit "submit." that is all it takes. just make sure there are no mis-spellings.
