I've gotten two emails in the past two days from Amazon sellers telling me that they don't actually have the books I ordered. Why do they put the book online and available for sale if they don't have it? And why do they send emails telling me the order has shipped before they even know if they have it?

My LG HDD recorder's done that a few times too often, so I've sacked it and gone back temporarily to VHS.

^ I had an LG DRT389H DVD recorder that drove me round the bend corrupting RW discs so I replaced it with a DIGIHOME HDD that has its own odd fits of madness. I think I finally understand how to work round its quirks such as having it tuned into channel 2 and 32 because if the EPG doesn't display properly - it doesn't record anything in the timer. :)

OMG! It got colder throughout the day. It was 43 degrees this morning but now it is 30. There was a little white stuff around noon today but it didn't accumulate.

Missing work makes you unhappy?! Must be a job you really like - or you don't like being sick?

Windows update messed with my computer or something.
It was downloading an update and the computer could not finish configuring it. After 20 minutes I turned the computer off and it apparently the update was corrupted. Then it got stuck in a thing to remove the update. After trying several times over 5 hours it finally finished on my last attempt.
