That aside; you make kind of a broad generalization of Asperger's. Are you trying to get people to kill themselves or something?
Define "a life" for us.
I doubt most adult aspies live with their parents unless they are still in college or have fallen on a hard economic situation or whatever.

This is all good, but then...

Bullying?
What about it?
I’ve been bullied in and in turn I’ve dished out my fair share of bullying.
It’s a give and take kind of world and will continue to be.

...yeah.

I have bullied people before, but I made sure to quickly change my ways and even apologize. I consider someone who does something nasty for a bad reason to not only be a monster, but a threat to my well-being. The only people who say 'it's a give and take world' are the kind of people who say 'if it aint broke don't fix it', when there are improvements to be made, the people who say '1 failure to 9 successes' in the height of the great leap forward. There is one religious phrase I like: Evil begets evil. I like to break the cycle.

Well, let me tell ya, I do fit that stereotype to some degree. As for no hope. Actually, I've been involved with my own recovery. It's taking me a while, but part of it was not having the right diagnosis nor the right treatment or understanding to help me get where I need to be. After the diagnosis I slowly got to understand why I have no job. Course of action. Recover from a recent lost job. Next course of action (what I'm doing now) go through OVR to find something that suits my skills and does not exacerbate my condition such as my over stimulation from people. I have friends. Few, but good quality. Quality over quantity as they say. I've bee taking the proper steps to find more friends for the future, too. So, we live with our parents? Yeah, but we eventually cut the chord. We need to find what works for us. Some of us need the boost. Some of us are fighting the comfort we have already, which is sort of typical for some aspies, not all. I had a recent move, which took me some time to get used to, but I wasn't overly bothered by it. Staying in the comfort zone occurs a lot when people like us aspies are overstimulated from unfamiliar territory.

We're not all like this, but I do happen to fit the unfortunate stereotype. And as for being sad and pathetic. I hardly think I'm sad. I like where I am. I want more from life, sure and I'm going there. But again I'm happy where I'm at, too. Life is just different for some people and you can't just look at someone's situation and just think they're pathetic or sad or lonely. Their life doesn't have to be like yours. Why does it have to be? If we were all the same, how boring would that be?

Dude, you really should get out more and see what life is really like. Maybe then your opinions would be relevant to real-world Aspie issues. You may also want to consider watching something other than the Discovery Channel all day.

For your information, I am not lonely and sad. I have a wife, a family, and a career. I also have a few friends, but the small number is made up for by their loyalty and generosity. My engineering skills are in demand, and my opinions are valued by others.

Please do not assume that your experiences as an Aspie are shared by us all.

This part is correct. When I was in primary school, I was bullied, and I lived with my parents.

Because having a life is boring to an aspie

Why would aspie want to go to Bali or Baja and get drunk with the jocks and jockets ?

Why would aspie want to go to Seaworld and watch frightened and dispirated animals preform on command while you chow down $22 misery burgers? yes meat is murder

Why would apsie want to "do Europe" ie Contki Tour when that's nothing more than a root and booze tour

Why would aspie want to go to nightclub's where drunken and boring peope make an ass of themselves

etc etc

Most normal people activities are boring thats why.

This made my day. Smile

To the OP: ... I don't even have anything to say. This is a rather pathetic excuse for attention.

It was mostly sarcasm, except I still kinda think I suck.....but I can't speak for everyone. No need to be so harsh when my comment was not even directed at you...yeah my life sucks and i don't know how to get myself out of it, do you have a problem with that?

Well you don't suck. So far your only problem is that you only defend doing things that you know don't help you at all, and have told me as such as well.

Only someone like you could take a real world comon sense phrase like "it's a give and take world "and write a condemning paragraph like that just because.
Whatever.........
