| Wow I was expecting something awful after reading the first few comments but I have to say I thought it looks quite good! It seems like pretty close to the original material and not such a huge departure, and the guys playing the Stooges themselves are pretty faithful to the originals. I for one am looking forward to it. |

After watching again, I really like "Larry."
He's subtle, when he gets bonked with the hammer, and over the top when he takes the lobster down his pants.
He'll do fine. _________________ If someone is able to show me that what I think or do is not right, I will happily change, for I seek the truth, by which no one was ever truly harmed. It is the person who continues in his self-deception and ignorance who is harmed.~Marcus Aurelius |

| Whatever, the original was also shitty. Some would argue it was because those were different times, but Chaplin was also from that time and it was damn good. |

No you aren't. I enjoyed it too.
Look, they're never gonna top the original Stooges; it's impossible.
I'm glad they went with "lesser-knowns" for this project. |
@ The Doctor 82: I agree with you about "lesser-known" actors as the 3 Stooges.
Much better than "household names", IMOO.
And yes, topping the original Stooges is impossible, although "impossible" is very much
of an understatement.
@ Idaho Rose: I laughed at the trailer too. Maybe this is the Farrellys' "comeback movie?"
Am I the only one who plans on seeing this when it opens in April of next year? _________________ Silly NTs, I have Aspergers, and having Aspergers is gr-r-reat! |

Totally agree - Laurel and Hardy are by far the best of the classic comedy groups - just get a copy of "Busy Bodies" or "The Music Box" and you'll be hooked. The Marx Brothers are worthy as well. |
