yup, I laugh a lot. Once my sister in law thought I was being disrespectful when I laughed while she was talking to me about how upset she was with me.

I get called smiley at work, even though I don't realize if I am or not most of the time. I do have a nervous laugh that tends to punctuate my statements. I notice that one, but can't seem to stop doing it.

I giggle and laugh and smile a lot, even in situations where it might not be appropriate. Sometimes, I just don't know how else to respond, especially in conversational lulls.

I also laugh a lot. I've been this way my entire life. I was on a school camping trip and we were assigned cabins and one of the girls in my cabin said, "There is one person who should not be able to laugh for the rest of the week." That girl had the audacity to say my name and another girl said, "I know. She laughs a lot." Those girls thought that I was some laughing retard who laughed, just because somebody else was laughing. I never knew it's such a f***ing crime to be happy and I hope that b***h is reading this post.

When I was a kid I used to giggle whenever I got nervous, which caused me a lot of problems whenever I got told off about anything, but I think I've outgrown that one now.

These days I tend to smile most of the time when I am around people. I find it makes people less likely to attack me (verbally usually, but also physically) if everything I say and do is done with a smile - in the past people often misconstrued things I said as aggressive or accusatory when I was purely being factual or requesting information. So smiling a lot works as a defence strategy for me.

My husband has recently accused me of having a weird habit of laughing for too long at things. I'm not sure I fully understand what I am doing wrong with this one. If something is funny and we both laugh at it at what point does it become too long? Do I have to stop at the exact same time he does? What if we're in a group - does the whole group stop at the same time? I wasn't aware I was doing anything wrong until he brought it up a few weeks ago. Apparently it's creeping him out though,

It's kind of easy to make me laugh and I tend to laugh for a long time. I also giggle nervously if I'm in a social situation and I don't know anything about how to handle it.
