My gf and the people on this board are the only ones that know. The rest of the world already thinks poorly enough of me, no need to give them more ammo to use against me.

Only my family, college tutors and people involved in my care know. I don't tell peers or strangers.

I usually let slip I might have some "thing" different with me, thus piequing interest.

Only close friends and family know about my diagnosis. When I was in elementary middle and high school, I was much much more open about it, but I really needed to be to explain certain behaviors, at least in elementary and middle school. In high school I began to not be so open about it, as I had stopped most of my tics and compulsive movements and stuff.

No I've been lead to believe by Autism Tv that it's a superior college educated persons disorder , so I can't have it.

Since I don't have it why would I tell some one I have something that I don't have?

I chose the "very few" option because none of my friends know about my having AS (yet), and only my mom and twin brother know I have Asperger's specifically.

I came out on Facebook a year ago. So anyone who was paying attention that day knows.

I'll write about it, but I don't like to talk about it all that much. Just like most other things on my mind... writing about it is easier. But me and my wife and kids are pretty open about it.

I've only been able to tell a couple of my friends that I have AS, and I want to tell more of them about it. Right now I'm trying to give them the hint that I'm an aspie without mentioning it by telling them about my symptoms when I was little and all the treatment I got for it to make me act more like an NT. But I know they're never going to fully understand me so I WILL have to just openly admit that I have it and hope that they'll accept me for who I am. On top of that, I'm still very nervous about telling my aspie boyfriend about it, although that shouldn't be hard since we had the same issues and treatment growing up.

Only those who are required to know by law or medical reasons and anyone I trust or feel they should know.

Quiet,

Please don't tell anyone. I am still new at this and trying to figure out what to do? I am successful, I am smart, I have six certificates on the wall. I am a CPA & CGMA. Now this.....OK, so I don't excel at social stuff?

My friends and the staff at the clubhouse that I go to know. The staff will know after today. I've done the Stepping Stones survey today and I've left a few choice comments on the back. Not in a nasty way, or with swear words.
