such a shame puertoricans have all the drag racing rotary records Cool
but i agree on the good roads part. It makes sense for competitive drifting to have started in japan not because of their culture, since rally drivers had been going sideways for decades, but because the conditions and cars allowed it to be done by many.

Jajaja you don't have to point out to me that puertorriqueños are awesome, I already know. I forgive their dragging tendencies on account of the good music. Nice to know they can drive though, even if I don't agree with the style.

Yeah sadly we don't have many of those kinds of cars here and the few we do are not popular.

ill disagree on the music part, but thats to personal taste. And we dont have many good roads in PR. The speed limit is not often broken as your car is likely to fall apart if you go any faster

I think fancy cars are a waste of money, and in some cases a sign of insecurity. I"m generally turned off by men with fancy cars unless I know they are actually car enthusiasts and didn't buy it to prove how great they are to the world.

Yes, it's in the book and explains different theories on why women are attracted to men. He discusses a few theories in this video, including triggering the pre-selection switch in a woman.

Mystery writes for and attemps to appeal to men, not women, out of financial interest. It tends to be a norm with pick-up artists to strongly exaggerate the success they have had with women as well as their targets' "quality". I actually once asked Mystery a quote for a communication skills presentation out of interest, and I did receive a flirty reply directly from him, accompanied by a facebook friend request. He seemed perfectly polite, but didn't follow the rules of his own book.

I'm from an area and culture where it tends to be taken for granted that both people in the relationship are educated, aspire to have good careers and work together for mutual interest. I actually expected this to be more common than what it seems to be based on this forum. I would expect clear majority of women appreciating personality traits more than any material possessions. It is true, though, than things such as culture, religion, distance, age gap, financial stability, health ect. can have their toll in a relationship, potentially great enough for the relationship to come to an end. It's natural for both man and woman to want to feel secured in life and in a relationship. I would think material goods are only small part of the mozaic there, however.

Of course, it's ideal to find someone that has a mutual goal for the greater good and I think that applies in terms of standard of living, healthcare, education and career prospects and definitely a necessity if you intend to raise children or animals in a healthy or safe environment. I think it's a determining factor for most people but I think it can also make them lose touch with other factors in the relationship such as spontaneity or creativity and the relationship can become too rigid.

It's also important that people share religious and cultural preferences, those that are bound by rigid and dogmatic thinking will be so in a relationship as well. If I was in a relationship with someone that saw a child questioning their beliefs as negative when I see it as developing a sense of identity, it would create a problem.

You are right, there are many factors that determine the compatibility and success of a relationship, if love is only an insatiable hunger we crave or a shelter we seek, if it doesn't bring us to an ultimatum or realization of self then what's the point of it? If we only seek love for validation, security or acceptance, we are living by a realization or demand that isn't our own. A reputation can be built in five years yet destroyed in five minutes, so can love, the only constant in this world is our freedom of expression. If that is the case, surely expression and spontaneity should be the strongest factors of why people are drawn towards each other.

No, I would not date a man because he has a nice car. I want a "fancy" car for myself, though. I wonder if men would date me just because I had a fancy car...

for some reason i am no longer "watching this topic" and i noticed it by chance, and i think the subject matter has changed, but here is a 16 second shot of it accelerating to 140kmh (87.5 mph).

If you got the cash to spare, R30s and R31s are totally legal to import without modifications now, they've over 25 years old, and thus antique, so not under the NHTSA bill anymore. But, you'd have to pay at least 1500-2000 for shipping, and then you'd have to find one in Japan to send over here, or pay someone a fair amount to do that for you. But, they're out there, and not too badly expensive. A while back I saw a nice R30 with the FJ20 for like...8K here? But yeah, import one of those, and you don't gotta do the craziness required to get an R32 or later Skyline here.

However if you DO want an R32, it'd actually be legal for you to have an R32 or later if it doesn't have the original factory engine and trans, then it'd be a kit car. However, that'd mean no AWD, which thus makes the Skyline sorta pointless to buy. But, let's say you want a Skyline with an LS1 in it, and a T56, totally legal. Might have to buy DOT glass and lights for it, though. Theoretically, you could just get the Skyline, and register it as a kit car without modding it at all, but for it to be federally legal, new engine and trans in the body, and then DOT glass and lights.

Yay Skylines.

I'm gonna post this clip of this Japanese movie with Skylines in it. Yay old Japanese street racing movies.

Any girls here like Skylines? Also, similar question, girls, what's your opinion on a guy driving a right hand drive Japanese car in USA? Cool? Not cool?
