| Yes, my friend was like that when she was younger. She was really homophobic and then all of a sudden she revealed to me that she was a lesbian one day and she said that she was just trying to cover up herself before because she was scared. |

It's kind of scary to think about how many people haven't been able to live their lives the way they want because of idiotic religious laws and standards. |
I'm one of those people that wasn't allowed to live my life the way I wanted, but mind you, I wasn't gay.
I know what it's like, and I sympathize completely with them. It's down right evil. _________________ *some atheist walks outside and picks up stick*

The difference is, gays are human beings with emotions and guaranteed rights. Until proven otherwise, spiders are not.

Holy Poop, you're right! Serves me to read posts better.

It's a juxtapositioning of their fear with a desire. |

That's why I had mistakenly thought that the post was about people skydiving or mountain climbing into a mass of spiders! Sure would scare the sh** out of me.

The phobia in this case is not a fear of homosexuals, but rather the fear that others might suspect (or realize) that oneself is gay or bisexual. |
