I'm just going by what the results say, I have received more messages on there then on POF.

What about meetups? Does it always have to be about dating and finding your soulmate? Why not meet up under plutonic circumstances and see if you like someone...... Speed dating for aspies....you have 5 minutes to tell someone everything you know about trains lol... sorry for anyone who's into trains.....personally, I love trains.

Never met anyone on OKCupid yet, but have on POF (at least 5) and one on datehookup. DH also has nice forums, including one for disabled dating. If any of you are on facebook, you can check my page promoting free sites there at http://www.facebook.com/freeBBWdatingsites
There are a few more aspie related sites, but they are NOT free and I won't try them. Also check out http://www.facebook.com/groups/ASPIEDATING/ on facebook

That's why I created that FB page! If everyone knew about the free sites, they would quit using the pay sites and greatly increase the number of singles on the free sites! I try to promote my facebook page as much as possible. I even add the site link to a lot of images I use and keep posting them.

I had a lot of success on OKC in terms of getting dates-
half of them went really well, the other half were pretty much disastrous.

Someone I met there is actually moving in with me this weekend (we're making it official in December) though, so I can't complain.

Ive been doing meetups since March and honestly it has been quite a good experience.

It started out because I had some issues with my local friends and I just gave up stayed in home for about 2 months. This could have been a solution if I lived by myself but my parents chimed in and started bringing up the need to go back to therapy... I turned to online organised activities to meet people.

Right now I have:
- A meeting on tuesdays.
- Two meetings on Thursdays(only go to one of those)
-A meeting on fridays
- A meeting on Saturdays
And Im sticking with my personal interest(pretty popular thing, you go to a meetup, someone tells you about this other meetup... you start meeting the same people at different meetups and acquired a regular status...)

I havent met a partner from there.
I did however become way more comfortable talking to new people of both genders and found a partner not too long ago because I got used to approaching strangers and starting a conversation out of nowhere(unthinkable not too long ago), personally I think its worth a shot because its free but it puts you out of your comfort zone so many members will probably have a problem with that
