If you can't have an intelligent, adult conversation about the political direction of your government, then you fully deserve the dysfunctional government and Congress that results.

Your jingoism, chauvinism and partisanship is shameful--and I am speaking just as much to the people whose political views align with mine as to those whose views oppose mine. You are all a bunch of shallow children.

I don't have a clue wtf you're talking about or to whom. At least wait until a decent hour before diving into a bottle.

Eric Holder should definitely resign and in a just world would be in prison. I don't think he's done anything that past AGs haven't done however, we have a criminal government regardless of who is office. Janet Reno was even worse.

Going by that logic one can still say Eric Holder is the worst, because in case you hadn't realized he worked under Janet Reno during the Clinton years.

In all honesty, this shouldn't be a political issue, we have a over 1,700 missing firearms that the DoJ (under the Obama Administration) funneled to Mexican Drug Cartels. These guns were used in who knows how many murders in Mexico and murders in the US, including a US Border Patrol Agent I might add.

The Obama Administration tried to set up gun dealerships in Arizona, New Mexico, Texas, etc. as the scapegoats, but it has come out that the DoJ lied to these gun dealerships and led the to believe they were participating in a sting to catch a bunch of criminals. Well the gun dealership owners got suspicious of the DoJ, that they were being told a pack of lies, and so they taped any conversation they had with DoJ. That's when it came out that the DoJ was letting the guns walk.

Oh and before any liberal here starts blaming Bush, got news for you, Bush's operation had safeguards such as planting tracking devices in the firearms to help catch the gun/drug smugglers before they ever made it across the border. When guns started slipping through the cracks, the Bush DoJ immediately shut the program down.

It is my belief that the Obama Administration was doing this to create a crisis so he could justify going after law-abiding citizens whom owned firearms as well as gun dealerships.

My meaning could not be plainer--to anyone with a halfway decent education in English literature. (For ease of reference, William Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet, Act III, Scene 1, Line 91.)

The wording of the post above is indicative of a two-year old in an adult's body. Perhaps the person who needs to grow up the most is visagrunt.

That's the best you can do?

I hadn't thought that my opinion of you could be diminished. Clearly I was mistaken.

Occum's Razor anyone? Why invoke conspiracy theories when simple incompetence easily suffices?

The Shakespeare part of it was just a start. After that you give no indication of who your talking to or specifically about what. Maybe you've been taking instruction from Tadzio.......
BTW, even if i did have a "halfway decent education in English literature" my vanity wouldn't allow me to admit it. There are and always have been better things to do than read Shakespeare......

I can't remember the name of the conservative on CNN but I remember that he had a couple guys on talking about the holder case; one was one of the two prosecuting republicans (not Issa) and the other was Charlie Wrangle.

Charlie's gotten as flaky as Sharpton these days. The only thing that came out of his mouth was "Republicans republicans....republicans....republicans.....George W Bush...republicans...republicans...witch hunt...republicans...republicans...republicans" and the other guy (the republican) had to keep bringing the conversation back to the fact that Holder (his name is almost as class as Madoff's to this extent) has been 'holding' subpoenaed documents now for a year and a half, obfuscating the process like crazy, that no one wanted to go this route - he's backed them into a corner where they can't do anything but come up against his obstruction of the subpoenas.

I also got a laugh of of Holder getting grilled because you had all kinds of different senators chewing him out, I mean really giving him the whole speech short of 'your fired' and what does he do? I have to admit - its genius. He not only completely denies their reality and completely denies their tone but starts out from a completely different place, starts talking in the same vague terms, and really does a great job of the sort of suggestive brainwashing in his tone to make himself utterly teflon.

So I'll give Eric this - he's great with words. Just a shame he didn't get into Hollywood script writing or editorializing rather than DOJ because sadly he's being left to hold the bag for a lot of stuff (call him the Democratic version of Scooter Libby who's getting raked over the coals while the Richard Armitage of it all is enjoying his days thinking 'Wow, sucks to be him').

Coch Brothers vs. Soros family.

There are some shadowy things going in all directions that make at least some conspiracy theories believable. The good thing about conspiracy theories - while its likely true at they're at least 60% correct when considering certain key players, those players are never quite as powerful as they think and generally speaking there are so many other things going on that the best laid conspiracy caves in on itself since a group small enough to keep a secret isn't generally big enough to align everything they need in order to make it all work.

See, that's one of the differences between you and I. You let mine and other posts get to you so that it effects your emotions and then you go off on childish rants. In the meantime, I feel nothing. I just see your posts for what they are: childish rants. Being inflamitory about them isn't going to make them anymore childish that what they already are. They speak for themselves.

oh visagrunt he got you. Just go cry in your corner. He sees your posts for what they clearly are. How could you not realize you let emotions get to you, unlike some of the masterdebaters on here

Wrong, silly. it is

Quote:
BENVOLIO: What, art thou hurt?

MERCUTIO: Ay, ay, a scratch, a scratch; marry, 'tis enough.
Where is my page? Go, villain, fetch a surgeon.

"I am what I am" cums from the Bible.

This is the only way conservatives can "win" debates. They simply piss people off with their shallow demagoguery, blatant condescension, and near absence of logic or insight. Then when someone finally tires of their antics and tells them off they get giddy and claim victory.

The above post by Marshall shows him falling into the same trap as visagrunt. He can't debate anything I say with any othodoxy and he knows it - so, like visagrunt, he has to do the childish Alinskyite act of hurling insults because he has nothing intelligent to argue with - especially because Marshall let's his emotions get to him. Again, the post speaks for itself.
