I confess...I just discovered how to cure hiccups. I swear this really worked just now. I had a really bad case going, and I tried to hold my breath a couple times, but it didn't work. So I concentrated really hard on breathing short, slow, normal breaths, and it stopped immediately.  That don't sound like much but, it really worked. I convinced myself to stop, and it did, immediately. Not even one more hiccup after I told myself to stop. It was like self-hypnosis. Amazing.
