I still want to know who was the dumb... that gave us 2 days in the week that begin with T and end in y and have a u in the middle.

Yes I meant the day before Friday and after Wednesday!

That'd be easy, but who'd want to come to Preston?

It'd be far easier to get to than London - they just have prettier things to go see, it seems.

Still, if one is ever set up, and I remember to read this thread, I'd consider going.

oops, I've missed another meet up.....but then I wasn't sure if there was an open invite. Maybe it's implicit in the fact all the meet up details were put in the forum, but didn't see an open invite. I would have felt like a goon if I'd turned up at a private/exclusive meeting, but now I feel like even more of a goon for not going! :(

If any one would like to meet up with me. Just PM me :P
Except I do not live in London.

I think i might know exactly what you mean, ive often been unsure whether my attendance is expected or desired and whether ive been informally accepted as belonging to a group/click (sp?). So when theres been any doubt ive tended to miss out on things. Im not sure why exactly - obviously theres a strong component of 'not getting' the social invite/inclusion cues, but i suppose it might be linked in with self-esteem, avoidance, fear of rejection etc as well.

Anyway, anything posted here is an open invite for people like us, so consider yourself formally invited! We INSIST on your prescence :)

Thanks and ((hugs)) to everyone who met me in London! I was glad to meet all of you :sunny:

I think it will be nice to do some meet ups in the London parks when the weather is warmer.

And it was great meeting y'all.

Yeah sorry I missed it too Lotusblossum :( I've turned into a right tight git with money at the moment. I'm kind of saving for a holiday at the moment. But come spring time, if there's a meet up going on, I will go. Oh as long as someone buys my ticket though

As far as PMing other members in the Bay Area I can think of one I could try, he and I PMed at the same time that you and I did about Dr.L.D., so it would not be without precedence for me to communicate that way with him. I can't think of any others at this time, but will try to keep it in mind. If you are comfortable doing so, then I don't see any harm in sending a PM to someone that they can choose to reply to or not. I will send a PM to the one individual tonight to reply if interested. As far as creeping someone out, I don't believe a polite invitation will do so. Anyway I'll get the PM done and shut off my computer since I could barely get up in time for work this morning after the long weekend, talk to you and wsmac tomorrow. :D

So, did the bay area meet-up come together? Will there be any others? I was back in L.A. by the time I was PM'd about the last one I think.

It would have been great to see you :( Im really tight with money too and it really hurt to spend so much on the train. Are you saving to go to america again?

Next time I think it definately should be a free place. One day we will get the syncronising right and meet! :D

Aye, if anyone within the age of 17-26 wants to meet up with a funny and accepting 19 year old aspie in Spokane, WA hit me up. We could meet at manito park, or wherever you feel best. I'd love an aspie friend... I have none and it's pretty hard finding like minded individuals in the area. If you'd like to see me I could send a pic in pm, because, my avatar refuses to work and I still have 3 days until I can post images.:/
