I usually just say "Banker" when people ask.... but I don't make loans... I break 'em. I'm the Collections Manager for a mid-sized midwestern bank in Northern Michigan. I spend most of my time going over administrative crap and rarely get to talk to a customer. By the time they hit my desk, it's probably already after the Foreclosure or repossession. While we didn't have any "auto manufacturing" plants in my area, MOST of the "living wage" jobs were in factories that made auto PARTS. Those jobs are gone and those factories are closed down, which means our people are packing up, leaving what they can't carry behind, and moving to other states looking for work. I don't think there's been anything like this in America since the dust bowl.

Have no occupation, if that means career/employment/work that one is paid to do.
If occupation means how one occupies time awake: I draw & read & write while living agoraphobic existence. Haven't a shortcut label for my circumstances & lifestyle.

im doomed to studenthood for 6 more months. at least i like the course im studying to become a childcare worker, I relate very well to children but not very well to adults my own age or the elderly.

I just got a job doing web design and graphic design stuff for a museum. I start this weekend. It will be my first job that actually relates to what I'm studying. 
I'm also a full-time student (high school senior + taking college classes).
