Asperger's Syndrome - No Sense of Humor
Some one is taking a pee in some ones tent me thinks (the psychiatric community) I have read by many so called "experts" say we find that sort of thing humours if that's the case I imagine most viewers of Australias "funniest " home video show aka Americas (your not fooling anyone with the aussie voice over) must be on the spectrum, because theirs nothing more amusing to an autisitc than watching a 2 year old been socket hit by a wayward swing right ?
Thank god we have autism tv setting the record straight we now know what it is , it's a mddle class/college educated white persons disorder, folk who like to often get together and back slap each other and tell each other how wonderful they are.
I'm sure that information is most useful to the stereotypical nt parent who come here with a autistic child that still poos their pants at age 6.

I have a sense of humor---a different kind of humor though. For example, a fellow teacher at school today was holding a spoon while on restroom duty. I asked her, "Are the toilets clogged up again?" When I was younger, I was often noted as being serious, and even today I will get the occasional comment, "that was supposed to be a joke." I don't always get other's humor, but I am able to give out humor. I love British humor, especially shows like Monty Python, Are You Being Served?, Keeping Up Appearances, The Vicar of Didley, and Benny Hill. As for American humor, I generally like the older shows such as Carol Burnett, Sanford and Son, etc. I also liked the humor of many of the old variety shows like Dean Martin.
As far as other's misfortune, no. But...there are some things I found funny like when I was a child. For example, a lady in high heels got her heel caught in a floor grate in a theatre and broke her heel off. In a restaurant a waitress slipped in spilled beer and slid into a wall of dishes knocking them over.

Wasted beer is never a funny thing ( I hombrew and this breaks my heart) unless it's dudweiser...

If anything, I'm probably more sarcastic than most NTs. Sometimes I find things funny that other people don't, such as the end of Paranormal Activity and One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest, and other people find things funny that I don't, such as Family Guy, although once they point it out, I then usually understand why it's funny. Maybe my humour is slightly sadistic... :S

I encompass a wide range of humor styles and sometimes even go over adult's heads with my jokes! However, sometimes that's because I don't communicate half the joke or present the setup well.

I usually love satire, wordplay, goofiness, and political humor.

I have a sophisticated, dry sense of humour that really only my older peers appreciate, for whatever reason my mom's husband thinks everything I say is hysterical, whether it was meant to be or not... I have yet to determine the verisimilitude of his mirth. I really don't find slapstick humour very funny, just rather silly.

Yes and no; I dish out the humor at a maximum capacity because I've found people are more accepting of me when I make them laugh but I almost always have to force laughter when I notice someone else is doing something that garners laughs or telling a joke. It's exhausting. Some movies though, like the slapstick in Home Alone and Ace Ventura (I know, not Oscar worthy material) made me laugh like crazy as a kid and extremely witty/intelligent humor gets me going at times now.

False. I like lots of different types of humour but definitely not Schadenfreude.
My favourite humour is surreal humour. I find it hilarious when things are illogical or absurd.
The closest I get to laughing at the misfortune of others is intentional slapstick, like in Charlie Chaplin films. But if I thought that someone was actually getting hurt I wouldn't laugh.
I have a good sense of humour and it's actually something that people who know me well comment on. It's just my sense of humour isn't exactly mainstream, it's offbeat and rather dry, people either get it or they just think I'm rude which is unfortunate because I try to be polite.
At work , I get no respect. I get laughs for talking about why mouses live longer the tortoises. I don't want to talk about the time I had a scientific discussion about the evolutionary benefits of big breasts.
OMG. I am THE WORST conversation starter... I don't seem to understand the functionality of the word "so"... I'll be like, "So, there are a lot of festivals lately..." or "So, there are a lot of telephone poles around here..." and people will just stare at me for a minute before laughing, saying, "Okay... that was random."
I see it every time I come here, what is funny are the ones who claim their gifted in that regard when in fact their not (wont mention any names)

On the spectrum or not. You will find that most people have the ever burning desire to be considered talented, special, and interesting to other people to feel less insignificant. Aka, they want to be better than you and everyone else around them.
As for humor, I like dark and over the top humor, and some satire as well. Most of the time I actually find humor be quite boring. I often come across people that will exchange generic humor that just seems to be used to prevent silence. Like small talk.
Call of Booty.
Getting exited over each game (it's the same game guys) what next a thrice yearly release ? it wouldn't' surprise if it's on the mind of Adrian in accounts at Whore-avision
Oh wait that's just sad ,don't get me started on the Halo has beens , they once made a good game , 11 years on the jokes still going on.
