Have you tried talking to him to get to know him personally? I mean even if you feel a crush is unsuccessful it still helps to give it a try?

I haven't had a crush. . .well, ever. I am dying to fall in love.
I am a seriously lonely human being. I crave conversation and touch in the lip-biting,
tender way that only the truly lonely can.
I tell myself and everyone else (including WP) that I'm asexual*. I read a lot of Nietzsche. If I did not half-deny the power of love, it would indeed be too much to bear, this loneliness.
*alas, no. I am of the earth, sadly. I like girls.

What if it is unrequited love? Would you really want that kind of pain to cling to you and haunt you? People lose so much for "love", that it becomes questionable whether a person would wish this on any other much less themselves.

No surprise. I would imagine that a lot of people with AS ultimately suffer suffer the fate of Tantalus, to see the delicious fruit, and even to see others consume it, but never to have any ourselves.

Nietzsche? I like Nietzsche. Even though I have never read the context of the following quote:

I find the quote to be awesome. Loneliness is a bitter pill to swallow though, to know that there is a path, and perhaps a difficult one, and to know that it is your path and yours alone is just difficult to swallow. To know that everyone else has kin, while you are cursed to roam the earth like a vagabond is depressing. |

Yeah, it sucks that most girls don't want an 'exotic boyfriend' (reply I got last time I asked a girl out), having AS and being an ethnic minority is a toxic cocktail.

I realized last night I act to childish for a mature girlfriend. Like most of the dudes my age get older women or girls around thier age. For me getting a girl like that is hard.....and the sad thing is I can't date girls three to two years younger anymore.

Well last I looked there were plenty of women out there that are your race I would assume, you don't exactly have to date outside your race right? Definitely not saying dating outside your race is an issue however in your situation if that's the issue it seems pretty easy to fix.. |

Depends on location. If your race is a minority, it doesn't exactly help.

Well, worrying does nothing to change the situation of not having a significant other. It often just obscures the perception of reality. One could think that they don't have a boyfriend or girlfriend because they or unattractive or boring, when in reality it's because they are afraid to open up to others and make the first move. You just have to put yourself out there and keep trying.

You know, my has been telling me that since I got with my ex. But the question is how does one put him/herself out there. I've been wondering that for awhile.
