I went to a small school so I have everyone that dormed as friend since there weren't many of us. And I mostly use facebook to network with people, stay updated with activist groups (Free Burma and Colbert for President), and know about concerts and events in my area.
And its kinda fun just jumping around and reading peoples profiles and knowing how they are so different in real life. |

well, that is nice of you, but i think we are not destined to be friends. i am not trying to be bitchy or rude. i am being neutral-sincere. you are the type of person who thinks: Don't ever frown because you never know who might be in love with your smile-- is a "positive" sentence. Whereas I cannot think of anything but "FALSE!" inside my brain when i read it, and am completely puzzled by what you mean by "positive". So i think that even sending Harry Potter magic spells back and forth to each other by way of communicating would be a stretch.

I have a profile on facebook... but as someone already said, I just "am" there. I don't add people as my friends, for some reason I wait for them to add me. That's of course also due to the fact that I dont have really close friends. That means I currently have like 3 friends, from couple of weeks.
Is there any way that people can see who visit their profile, I mean, I just got a friend request from a "friend" whose profile I visited like week ago, and haven't seen in real life for over 2 years. Or was is all just coincidance? I dont think we have common friends or anything. |

Well I think being nice and positive shows that you have up look in life. I switch my signature to a quote of Langston Hughes and FDR. I like good quotes.

I have a facebook, but I'm rarely on it. I also have a myspace, but I never do anything on it. Most of what I use facebook for is to help keep in touch with a few friends from high school. It's kind of overrated.
