Haha the only worry I have left in the world anymore is if I will ever have a gf that wants to stay with me, but thats a problem everyone around here has.

Why do so many guys here have this problem, and do you think that the WP members have it more than guys in general? Remember that there are more men than women under 30, so that means there are leftover guys. I gather that AS guys tend to end up in this leftover category. I'm in the same boat, so I have placed my efforts toward progress in other areas that are more productive, and this MAY lead to being more desirable as I reach that crossover age where the women start to outnumber the men.

And wait until Im over 30 so that a desperate older woman would take me no matter what? I dunno.. Just doesnt sound very satisfying to me, and theres no way I could wait that long. Plus my heart feels profoundly lonesome now.. It weighs on me a lot when Im not distracted or fully focused on something. Id rather not live my life distracting myself and trying to find all these things to get focused on with an empty heart just to forget about the pain.

No, that's not the idea. Trust me, you don't want someone who's just desperate. The idea is that you should work to improve yourself. Feeling lonely without a partner, gives women too much power over you. Concentrate on whatever you can do that is most productive. Earn degrees. Go to the gym. Anything. Career advancement may take you to places where you can do things to demonstrate social value and improve your socioeconomic standing, which can only make you more attractive to women. Keep in touch with other people who are close to you, family members, etc. to avoid feeling lonely. I have a pet bird.

I'm worried about the economy and gas prices. I'm worried about my future, if I have one. I'm worried that my dad will quit or be fired from his job. I'm also worried about my mom's health. I worry about everything!!!!

I'm very worried about my Aunt's health. She's in the hospital and in very critical condition. I'm afraid, that she's not going to make it, through the night. She has a lot of health problems.

I feel selfish for worrying about myself. I'm scarred that I won't be able to deal with the future, find a job and happiness. When I was a little kid I loved my history books and I would live in this world I built from those pages.

Now I need to 'grow up' but it feels like I'm a step behind all the time. Once my peers get to the next level I feel as if I'm on the rung just beneath. I can't say anything like this 'in real life' because I'll alienate the few people I talk to and drag them down.

I just want to walk off into the woods and not come back.

I'm not sure why I didn't go...I loved my classes and had a good time, but most days I just can't get out of bed, and then being obligated to get out of bed stressed me out so much that I stayed in bed to unwind, and then it was this whole cycle. Now that I don't have to leave my house and have nothing I have to do, I feel so much more relaxed. I'm not getting anything accomplished and obviously this semester can never happen again, but for now I feel like a weight has been lifted.

I dropped out of school this semester and I'm worried about my mom finding out. Strangely enough though, I feel better now having just left all my classes entirely than when I was going to them on/off and failing. Even though I'm lying about going to classes, it's easier having a bunch of Ws on my transcript than failing a semester. Still don't want my mom to find out though. :/
I feel your pain. Just curious: why did you go to them on and off and not all the time? Was it hard to pay attention to completely and devote your whole life to it just to keep up with it? Either you're ADD, or you're just as ADD as most people are, needing a life and not for their classes to be their life. I think most people need to have a social life and bigger stimulation than studying BESIDES studying, or they'll get understimulated (sensory deprivation) and depressed. It's nothing to be ashamed about if you were pused into taking classes; it's just self-defence.
AHA. OBLIGATED. That explains it. I had that same problem.

Mirandao, if your peers or anyone gives you sh** for it, tell them to take their framed degrees and diplomas and "Congratulations, you were elected employee of the week" certificates and shove them up their ass and see how it feels.

I'm worried GoatOnFire will think I look like a layabout or a clown when he sees me!

I'm worried I may have started a war and I'm the only one on my side.

I'm afraid I might jokingly/inadvertently start wars where I'm the only one on my side.

I know how you feel.

I hate anyone who might tell me the world has to change me, or that I'll have to conform or adapt or compromise myself.

I'm afraid it may be taken the wrong way that I don't read my mother's messages. I'm just a little allergic to them for some reason; I don't know why.

I'm worried that I won't turn in the lacrosse paper work in time to the coach, and will be cut from the team before try-outs.
