Just wish I could have the same kinds of blessings. -_-U |
I got my undergrad in instrumental music education. On average I would take 9-12 classes per semester. I got through it by hyperfocusing on what had to be done each day to survive. And that was before I got any of my dxes or had any of my meds; so I was on a rollercoaster of moods and extreme anxiety levels constantly. | holy....F**king sh*t......Does that translate to like....27-40 credit hours....and what do you mean, "I got through it by hyperfocusing on what had to be done each day to survive." and by "dxes" ?
before you had meds...lucky bastard. :\ |

I'm currently a junior at University of CO - Denver. I'm majoring in Philosophy with a minor in Psych. I'm planning, though, on getting the hell out of Denver when I graduate. My plans are to go to the University of MN to pursue a Master's in Anthropology. _________________ It is a sad and beautiful world. |

dxes - diagnoses
As for credit hours, that translated to me taking between 18 and 21 hours every semester. I had a lot of 1 hour classes. You do as much work as the 3 hour ones (or more), but this way, music majors can hope to ever graduate. lol
In undergrad and now in grad, when it really gets rough, I start getting up at 4 am to do homework.
As for hyperfocusing, it's an aspie skill. You know how you get when you get really absorbed by one particular topic? Well, when I can pull it off, I trick myself into thinking that whatever homework I'm doing is my new special topic. lol And when that doesn't work, I just bribe myself with necessities--like bathroom breaks. _________________ "I am to misbehave" - Mal

| Williams College in Massachusetts, with a major in art and (an almost major - my school doesn't have minors) in math. Unfortunately for me (and my GPA), I had a falling out with a professor in the department freshman year and decided to drop pursuing the major (I just took a lot of math classes instead). Generally, I don't do well on tests unless they're multiple choice or math tests, so Art, while its a passion of mine (not painting or anything, just studying) it was kind of my only choice here (my writing skills leave much to be desired, apparently). |

| Ithaca College, over in NY. I'm majoring in Creative Writing, and I also might try for a double major in Drama over there. While I don't have a minor at the moment, my top choices are Journalism or Psychology. |

| I go to Michigan Tech University and I'm a Scientific and Technical Communications major even though the school is predominantly engineering based. I'm also doing a concentration in Information Technology and a minor in German. I'm also pretty sure I'm either going to grad school for STC or Project Management. |

Beginning August 23, I will be going to my city's junior college, and majoring in biology. I am also minoring in astronomy. My ultimate goal is to study life on other planets, which is a branch of astronomy called Astrobiology. In a few years, I will transfer to my city's university. _________________ "Missed it by that much!" --Maxwell Smart |

I go to the University of western Sydney, I am doing bussiness, majoring in accounting but I have enjoyed doing marketing, and doing management accounting, but hated economics. _________________ Whats life without a little bit of fun?

Are you leaning more toward teaching, or toward GIS, urban planning, etc.? _________________ When you need something, that's a responsibility, that only an adult...of my maturity...Bunnies!!!

I am currently just General Geography but I could very likely end up with an option in Community and Environmental Planning. what about you? |
