Hi guys, I believe I made a mistake in my previous posts.

For a year, I had been covering my races in Nitro powered RC Car racing. I said before that the fuel that I used was nitroglycerin, actually it was nitromethane that powered my nitro rc cars. My bad. Sorry for the misinformation. I will be more careful next time.

I have finished the race report of the speedtech grand club race. I hope youis enjoy it!

Speedtech Grand Club Race. Aliso Viejo,CA. June 23 2012.

I practiced on Friday with my dad. We got the car pretty dialed in and working well. On Saturday June 23, my dad and I got to the track early to get some practice in and after that there was a short drivers meeting. Once the meeting was over the racing went underway.

Qualifying and the Main.

During the first round of qualifying, there were many slower racers that I had to get around during the last lap there was a slower car that was blocking my way and it took awhile to get by him. This cost me a 23 lap run. I was qualified 6th in the A main but there was one more qualifier to go. During the second qualifier I was racing with faster drivers, incluidng professionals and there would be racers that I would have to move over for. During the seocond to last lap I let a faster driver by in one corner but once I let him by, as we were coming into the infield he went a little wide and clipped him from behind and I rolled him over and I had to wait to let him by before I continued. This cost me the A main by only 6 tenths of a second. I would start first in the B main. In the B main I had a little bit of wheelspin off the line and I almost got taken out but after that I broke away from the pack and never looked back. I ended up winning the B main, which I had a time that would have put me 6th in the A main. I really enjoyed running modified and I plan to race the class in the future.

Hi guys. My next race coming up is the Tamiya North American Finals, August 25-26 2012 at Tamiya America raceway.

I will be running the GT-1 class. This is the fastest class out of all the Tamiya Championship Series, there will be many past champions competing all for the trip to Japan, since past champions are now allowed to compete for the championship. There is no handout battery this year and drivers are allowed to run there own batteries. The motor is a 13.5 turn, which is like a V-8 in a real car. There will be racers all around North America competing in this race. I have been practicing since January for this race. I will keep you updated.

Hi guys! I am still getting ready for the Tamiya North American Finals. I have been practicing very hard with my dad and we have been tweaking and tuning the car to the best of our extent. The guy to beat in the GT-1 class, has been very fast and he is providing us with some great competition. Also, school starts up for me again this August 20th during the week of the North American Finals, Luckly it's only once a week on Monday nights so it will not interfere with my racing. Thank you.

The Tamiya North American Finals is less than a week away and I have one more week of practice before the big race. My dad and I have been working out our bugs here and there and preparing for our first nationals to race for the trip to Japan since 2009. My dad and I have only been practicing for 8 months and we have made good progress.

Hi guys.

This is day 2 of practice. On thursday, which was day one, my dad and I got the car very well setup and we are hanging with the front runner. We are also helping a two racers from Wisconsin who are staying over with us this racing weekend and one of them is doing very well and could have a potential to win if he doesn't make any mistakes. Tomorrow is qualifying.
