Pop does that all the time, sinagua.
I thought my son would never be able to make stuff up. At 4 he wasn't even making whole sentences. But he makes up all sorts of stuff now and takes it very seriously.
Last year I had to say absurd things to get the real story out of him. (he was getting mistreated at school by staff) |

| I am really sorry about the way your daughter was treated that day, and although I am only eleven, I know what kids with these kinds of problems go through, as I have studied and studied these issues when I was diagnosed with Asperger syndrome. I am new to WrongPlanet, and I am wanting to socialize with children and parents who understand or want to be understood. I do know that if it were my child, I'd have a good chat with the parents of that child. Do not feel that it is in any way your fault. I know that hearing this from an 11 year old is kind of strange, and I know you are just thinking "what does he know?". To tell you the truth, it is most likely that my children will eventually be diagnosed with Asperger syndrome. Does your daughter have any friends at school that don't treat her this way? I was also disrespected in school before, and it led me to believe that making friends was not going to work, so I gave up, and I've been trying to get back up ever since. |
