Total Recall for the NES.

GTA:San Andreas. The drug use and swearing made me uninstall the game and throw it out lol.I also didn't care for how linear it was compared to the freedom of gta3.

I wouldn't call SA "Horrible" per se, though you're right about the linearity. I played it mainly for the online multiplayer, as that was particularly entertaining. We've had some entertaining battles, like when I played on a team of SWAT officers, and I manned a Riot Tank, hosing down enemies as the teammates set them up for headshots.

The worst game I've played recently was probably Shadowbane.

I will give it the benefit of the doubt and say that maybe (and that's a big maybe) I didn't give it enough of a chance to get to the "good stuff."

At least I didn't have to pay for it.
Hey rjay09, you live close to where I live! Very Happy

The worst Star Wars game I have ever played would be Star Wars Jedi Acadamy. It is not the worst game ever, but it is if it is under the category of Star Wars. It has bad animation, and I hate the main character voices. Even in German they suck. You would think for each of the alien races they would have differant strengths and weaknesses, and that they would sound differant, but they don't. The same voice actor is used for all of the males, and the same female voice actor is used for all the females, irregardless of species. The stuttering animation takes you out of the story, and the people look like puppets when they walk around. So this is my least favorite Star Wars game.

I'm gonna have to go with Final Fantasy X-2 again. The fact that some people got through half an hour of it is admirable.... I only got through 10 before it pissed me off enough to stop playing.

On the subject of Final Fantasy, as much as I tried to get into it, the fighting system in XII was REALLY hard to work with, and after a while, it just became too frustrating. I have yet to attempt it again.

That and, I don't know about the most recent games (the last time I tried playing one was in 2005), but every time I attempted a Spyro the Dragon game after the last one Insomniac did, Year of the Dragon, I couldn't keep playing. They just didn't have the right feel to them, and it bothered me. :\

That's easy:

Superman 64. Yes, I actually bought that game, much to my eternal shame. Horrible glitches, controls that lag beyond all human measure, Commodore 64-level graphics, and one of the dumbest ideas ever (let's have Superman fly through RINGS!) make it easily the worst game ever devised by man.

In a close second would be Sonic the Hedgehog for the 360. The only reason I'm giving it leeway is, if it was actually finished, it looked like it would have been a pretty decent title. Instead, it was rushed half-finished, missing entire powerups and levels, with more glitches than Windows XP and Vista combined, and one of the most horrible, disturbing storylines ever written for a game.

Shadow the Hedgehog for the PS2 was unplayable.

Enter the Matrix was pretty bad, too...this from a fan of the films.

You stole mine! Yeah, I rented Superman 64 when I was little, played it once, and then returned it to the video store, which I never did with any other games.... But, I actually did like Enter the Matrix, I thought it was unique and added to the storyline. And you learned more about Ghost, who was only shown like once in the movies. However, Path of Neo was frustrating to me....

I also did kind of like Sonic06, but I think I'm one of the only people on the planet who did. ^_^;;

Most games on the old spectrum. They were cassette games, so forgettable I forgot the name.

The only good ones i remember were bomb jack and the one with the egg superhero.

Very Happy That'll be Dizzy, then? The Dizzy games were the best thing on the Spectrum.

As for worst games - I was glad I saw Sonic Heroes on someone's list. That was dire.

Final Fantasy X-2 I actually loved for it's blatant fanserving cheesiness. It was full-on so-bad-it's-good. I cringed through the whole game and loved it.

Final Fantasy XII, I hated. The story went absolutely nowhere. I was thinking "this can't be the final boss - why are there titles scrolling?!" Not in a 'I want to play more' way, in a 'okay, where was the story' way. Tidus was a pain in the neck, but Vaan had as much character as magnolia paint. Dull as dishwater. It was way too easy, too - I spent most of the game feeling hopelessly overlevelled without trying at all. Bleh. Awful game.

Gunman Chronicles. It was pretty good for the most part--made good use of the Half-Life engine, the customisable weapons were cool, and it was neat having an insane AI as your sidekick for half of it. WHich is why the final battle was such a kick in the nuts. You gear up for an epic fight with your arch-foe, who is in a giant robot. Except....you end up shooting random cannon fodder while an NPC jumps into another giant mecha and has an awesome fight with him! Then a monster pops up out of nowhere and eats him in a cutscene.

I wish I was kidding.

Final Fantasy X-2. I really really wanted to like this game, but 30 minutes later I knew it was hopeless. Mabe XIII will be better as far as having a girl lead character that can be taken seriously (by me).

Once it got past the whole "Charlies Angels" vibe, I actually really liked FF X-2, especially the way the experience and "role" system was handled.

Either sqeak squad or pokemon channel. Pokemon channel was hardly even a game. After an hour I had beat sqeak squad. It was pathetically easy. -_-

possibly the most horrible game i played was boom boom rocket on the 360, it came with my arcade that i got because my premium broke the gameplay was so rubbish, it was like a damn dancing stage game because all you had to to was tap the buttons at the right time to make a stupid fireworks display to some music my second worst game that i ever played was lost oddesy for the 360 again, it was too much like final fantasy and was confusing as hell Evil or Very Mad
