Aww, well it sure is sweet of you to say that. But excuse me if I stand with my back against the wall from now on. I should have stated that I'm looking for a female partner, I don't want to sound ungrateful, but I'd appreciate it if you keep your wotsits to yourself.  My back passage is not to be used that way.

I feel like making a profile again, so here I am.

Well i've been complaining enough about not getting women, so maybe i'll give this a shot...
(I don't want to post a picture, look in the build section to find out why...)
Age: 20
Height: 5 feet 10 inches.
Eyes: light blue.
Hair: dark blond/light brown, often cropped along the sides and back.
Build: fatass (<--not afraid to say that, but it makes me too afraid to post a pic)
Looks: once you get past the fatass, not too bad (unless I haven't shaven in a couple days)
Best feature: nerdy genius.
Perfect first date: something not too noisy (unless its a movie)... perhaps a quiet dinner somewhere. A late night beach walk would also be kinda romantic, but I don't go anywhere near beaches most of the year anyway...

OK. I might as well put in my bid. Here I am at 55.
I've been a dancer most of my life, don't have any kids, and I take good care of myself. I'm a technical writer.
I love to dance, especially the Lindy Hop. I make my partners smile when I dance. And I make beginning dancers comfortable when they dance with me. I love Zen meditation. How can I explain that to you without seeming weird? It's really very natural and just a normal, but negleccted, part of the mind that we explore in Zen. We're so busy just trying to survive. It's very good for Asperger's. It puts you in a place where you can just completely accept the perfection of the moment. It's like doing biofeedback (or neurofeedback) without a machine.
I love to hike. Haven't done a lot here, but the few hiking trails I've done around LA are beautiful.
I'm looking for someone who will bring out my sense of humor again. I work at an engineering firm, live at a Zen center, and I'm trying to help a niece and nephew in Philadelphia get on their feet--a lot of hard work. I'd like to be with someone who could help me see the forest for the trees.
I'm an odd mix of very cultured and down home: I like Bach, swing music, country, and blues, for starts. I'll wear tight jeans and boots once in a while, and a dress VERY rarely, mostly I'm comfortable in baggy, distressed jeans and a funky blouse or tee shirt.
I'm a good, loving person. My last boyfriend and I broke up in such a sweet way. We lived in NY state and I wanted to go live in LA, so we were just friends for six months until he got a date with someone and he's very happy. That was four years ago. Hmm, I guess this would make an interesting first post on this site. I like it here, BTW.

Description: In a lot of ways, I am the Asperger's posterchild, but not completely. I've never had a girlfriend, but that's mostly because for most of my life I was just too weird, socially inept, and didn't have enough of a personality. Ever since I started college, though, I am a totally different person, much more socially integrated and generally happier. I've got a lot of friends and I love them all. I've recently realized that I could probably not be really happy in a romantic relationship with an NT. So, I've decided that trying my luck on a site devoted to Aspies is the way to go! I've also realized that there is nothing wrong with having female friends that aren't girlfriends, something that's taken me a long time to do. Frankly, I just find it more exciting and interesting to interact with women than men. I love to laugh and make everything funny, because I find life to be dull when you're not laughing or smiling.
Hobbies/Interests: Lots! I'm a straight up computer geek, but believe it or not I don't like to sit on the computer all day. It's more important for me to go out and have a life. I'm addicted to music, movies are always a blast, and lately I've gotten into reading books. Douglas Coupland is a ridiculously talented writer and I'm certain that most of the people on this site would go nuts over his work. But I digress...
The hobby I have that is unique is walking. I am considered by many to be this crazy guy who just walks all over the place for no real reason- and it's true. Just give me some headphones, send me off to somewhere in the city, and I'm happy as a clam. I can walk for hours without a destination and never get tired of it. This is partially the cause of those disproportionately large leg muscles I referred to earlier... those are also thanks to the biking and running I do.
What I'm looking for in a girl: I've found that I can relate most easily to other techie-types. What's really important is meeting cool people, though. Like I said, I have no problem with making "just" friends, but to say I don't want a relationship is a flat-out lie.
