Forgot them. If they can't accept who you are than they aren't worth your time.
They are the problem not you. Everyone is different in some sorta of way.
Do what you want and don't worry about others. Life is too short!!!

Absolutely. I stopped trying to fit in, and built a life much more suited to my "eccentricities." I make little effort to mimic NT behavior, and I'm happier for it. Sure, I'll hear a comment about my flat voice like "He sounds like a zombie!" or one about lack of laugh-out-loud humor "Man, why don't you tell us a story or any jokes?" People will try to tear you down all through life and ya gotta deal with it. It's never worth changing for someone else's sake.

I'm thinking of one of my favorite songs by Arctic Monkeys:

Well I ain't got no dollar signs in my eyes
That might be a surprise but it's true
That I'm not like you and I don't want your advice
Or your praise or to move in the ways you do
And I never will

Cause all you people are vampires
And all your stories are stale
And though you pretend to stand by us
I know you're certain we'll fail
