Some undies just look bad with some body types.. for example, if you have a big belly and your undies are pulled up to your navel, it looks a little strange. If it's just you alone, who cares? But if someone you care about is looking, then it becomes something different.

Also, it depends on the clothing, too.. some undies give you VPLs(visible panty lines) on your butt, which is never attractive. Or, some clothing will just hit you in the wrong spot and your undies need to sit somewhere else.

For me I mostly go for comfortable.. I see no reason to go super-fancy. I like the cutesy stuff, like Hello Kitty, but just because they make me feel cute. And the all black bikini undies are to wear for the boy Very Happy I'm glad he has simple tastes!

And as for mothers buying their girls frilly undies.. some mothers just like to dress up their children! It's like having a doll, only more responsibility Razz

Sex is human, not male nor female, but male and female!
Sexiness doesn’t come from who’s viewing you, but from with in your self, it's you in the panties he wants!
The black panties aren’t for “the boy” but for the way you feel wearing them, that’s what he see’s is YOU standing there being sexy in some black lace panties and that’s what turns the guy on not a piece of lace.
Comfort yes, in your panties and out, that’s what is sexy, being comfortable with your own body, knowing how it works. The sexy secret that one on knows, like you’ve have had a lacey thong on all day will set your mind up to feel that your are that pretty sexy girl that derives his attraction not just flashing him some pretty panties
We are all sexual beings, so wear the panties to feel sexy for your self and if he doesn’t notice, love your self. Rejoice in your own beauty and sexuality and he will find that confidence a turn on.

No, they're definitely for him. I don't feel any more or less attractive in them, they're the same style as all the others, just a different color. He likes me in all black, and it's easy for me to do, AND I like to make him happy, so they're for him.

But I do agree that you should wear the sexy clothing to feel sexy. It helps sometimes Smile

Wrong! Men don't notice the quality, fit etc. The kind of lingerie that men like to look at is generally scratchy and nasty feeling, and they just want to take it off anyway.

But I undress myself every single day. (Bar red-eye flights and the occasional falling-asleep-still-clothed.)

I got my first "set" of underwear when I got assigned a project where I felt like I needed the energy of some kind of sass, underneath, just for me. Mind you, I had NO idea of my style at that point; I'd previously bought my first professionally-fitted bra and I'm pretty sure it's middle name was Yoda. But my clothes fit SO much better. So I went back to that shop, and there happened to be a sale, and the owner took pity and got me to try on things I never would have chosen, and said I should at least consider taking a pair of matching panties, and gave me prices reduced even from the sale. I bought panties and a tanga/thong/string whatever they're called for each bra. You can't really take that kind of stuff home and mix and match it! I haven't looked back.

The project turned out to be less hostile than I'd imagined, but I was hooked on the set thing. It's purely for me. I tried those Spanx things under suit-pants that didn't have a liner, and I =hated= undressing myself to find granny instead of the usual welcoming visuals.

Plus, often my work means I'm surrounded all day by men, and I dress in dark suits and feel a bit like a man myself, even when I'm being charming etc. Sometimes, knowing I've got sweet underthings going on is the only thing that reassures me I'm not growing a pair of brass ones.

I'm obsessed with pretty underwear. It makes me feel pretty. No one else sees it because I'm only 13 though... Wink

I like cute underwear (like hello kitty or something a bit fancy or something). Yeah, there's not really much point to wearing anything but plain underwear, as no one's really gonna see me (not now, anyway), but that's maybe one of the reasons I like it (I can wear what I want without worrying about many seeing it). Uhm, but it's mainly because I thing it's cute, I think. But yeah, I prefer cotton (comfort is a must), so I guess it's good I think "cute" underwear looks better than "sexy". =]
