Maybe it's your cool gaze in this particular photo.
It's hard to tell what someone really looks like from just one photo. A lot of things go into appearance besides just "looks" ie body posture, facial expressions, fluidity of movement; you just put up one photo. So, it's kind of hard to say I guess. |

I dont think its all about looks, it also about being photogenic, how can you possible convey your passions and personality and who you are into a small box on a screen. But to be honest i think everyone has types, and it depends when looking at photo if this guy/girl is your type. I've never really understood why people like Jessica Simpson can be 'attractive' i think its because she has a mathematically, geographic shaped face that complements a picture. Guys love circles...lol duhh curves. |

Back to the subject I think you look pretty, especially your eyes, but to me at least thats only the tip of the iceberg. Your personality would be a much more important factor in your attractiveness to me. |

No, I don't find you attractive, not in this photo at least.
That doesn't mean that you are ugly but you need to change your glasses(get something thin).
eyes and lips are good.
Can't say about your body since i can't see it.
Besides,you still have infant traits but this normal since you still 17 . I am sure you ll get sexier in the few next years. |

I agree with this statement but you also have to consider that these attributes in the quote are one of the biggest quirks aspies struggle with AKA the social akwardnes.

| The social skills factor is a big one in dating and that sort of relationship. I wouldn't worry that you're unattractive. It's just a question of figuring out the right social behavior; I generally don't notice interest from the opposite sex unless someone tells me. I didn't realize my ex was interested in dating me until my best friend told me he thought she was. |

BTW Poeticromance, do you have any pictures of yourself without glasses? Im curious to see what you'd look like w/ bright red lipstick  (or better yet a a black (pleated)miniskirt  ) Also, the answer to your question in the OP is YES.

| The girl is asking about her look whether it's attractive or not so give your opinion directly and don't change the subject to social skills and other stupid stuff because a girl DOESN'T need much social skills to get a bf, the shyest girl of the world can get a bf if she's attractive, Poeticromance is not a guy for god's sake! What she needs is to be more attractive, so giving her tips to become more attractive (physically) would be more useful that giving cliché advices such as 'be social' , a useless advice to an aspie nonetheless. |

Agreed. She is asking an honest question and deserves an honest answer. Personally, I hate it when people sugarcoat things and tell me what I want to hear to make me feel better. I would be much further ahead if people were just more honest with me when I asked a question about myself I couldn't answer. |

I 2nd that. But (cherry red)lipstick wouldnt hurt either .I STILL say try the black pleated mini skirt too . |
