| I don't have one really. Though I can say where it gets a bit sparse on goodies - early-mid 50's is pretty quiet in my music library. |

I like the 70's. The creation of punk rock. For a little while, people were drawn together by similar attitudes, even though they played very different kinds of music. I think that's what I love the most about the early 1970's punk - the same general type of attitude/energy was expressed in so many different ways. It's kind of the opposite today. |

| I'm surprised that nobody picked chose the "60's" option on the poll. |

| While I loath much current music, most of the music I love is from the 00's. Some late 90's. Almost none before that though. |

1920's which was the turning point for the age of jazz. Paul Whiteman is good example.
1960's and some 70's like the accoustical sound that you don't here much in today's music. Plus they had their own styles. _________________ Oh you can't help that. We're all mad here.

The 1920s were also my favorite period for jazz, as well as music in general. Other types of music that I like were quite alive then as well, such as klezmer and traditional Irish. Since there's no voting option for "pre '30s" I chose "pre '50s". _________________ Checkout: Folding@home!

Jazz = Sh*t. No offence but I feel like shooting myself in the head whenever someone puts jazz on.
Most of the music I listen to is from the mid-70's onward. |
