WHY should I assume that whenever I am discussing something in a thread on WP or ANY other kind of discussion forum with a woman of the opposite sex that its a potential date and that by agreeing with her I'll actually increase the chances of *hooking up* with her???There was Nothing that NLG said to even suggest that she participated in this discussion for the sake of picking up men! I think we know by now that kissing ass to a woman is NOT going to get her to sleep with you if she isnt attracted in the first place. Duh! |
No offense, but I think you're pointing your defensiveness in the wrong direction, D1.
What I meant in a humorous way is that if you separate out "just talking online" from "romance" then you're gonna limit yourself to women you meet only in "dating mode". Friends are a great way to start out a relationship, so why not just continually be open to relationships? I'm not saying to be in constant search mode, but let come what comes.

I agree completely. But in this case I really dont think that NLG has any intention of even being just friends with me. Merle was suggesting a possibility which shows no evidence of being actuality. |
