I know i'm not really a teen anymore, but I think I might beable to share my experiences and how I coped with them.

Most of my trouble was in primary(elementary school), when I was alot more autistic and did not get ways of coping.

Verbally, emotionally and phisically abused, and bullied. Alot of the time this was by boys and emotionally and verbally abused by teachers.

One thing I regret about this was Not telling anyone that could have helped.

Intermediate (middle school) was ok, apart from a few bitchy squabbles with girls.

High school was fine, apart from a few nasty girls, that wern't really that popular themselves, and the bitchy jocks.

Most of the time I learnt to ignore it or just say something unexpected like "Thank You" (not sarcastic) when someone said something nasty.

I still do that to this day.

Being bullied made me the strong woman I am today. It taught me what will happen if I don't stick up for myself. And it made me hard, so I was able to say the "ThankYou" thing to nasty comments, and sound like I totally meant it.

Sometimes i still get caught of guard by nasty commets, and cry. But I'm learning and getting harder every day.

When I was in seventh grade there was one group of kids that would block me in the hallway to see how I react, give me a hard time, and make me late for class. I fought back tears alot from that.

And another group of kids who would yell and act obnoxious towards me because they knew that I couldn't stand loud sounds. Only in one instance did I lose it and start crying over it. As a result, those kids were suspended for a day. Some of my peers were angry at me because they felt that they had done nothing wrong to me.

For some reason, everyone around me suddenly became more civilised by the time I was in high school. In fact, the only person that ever gave me sh*t was some immature pr1ck that had recently moved here.

I'm 23 now, and I can confidently say that all of you will likely be vindicated by time someday. You don't have to do anything great with your lives, just stay out of trouble with the law. I had alot of bullies throughout school, and now that I'm an adult, the best way to find out what became of most of them is through their criminal records. Most of which can be found online nowdays. Kids that were the worst bullies tend to be petty criminals as adults, and they often get busted for unusually stupid traffic violations, they often get extra little charges for getting stupid with the cop, DWI, drunk in public, and drug posession are common, they often have misdemeanor warrants out for them, usually failure to appear in court, and they may get sued alot due to negligence or dishonesty.

One such bully already died several years ago. He was 19. He went to a party, got drunk, got stoned, and drove his car down a street with a speed limit of something like 40 or 45 at well over 100mph. He couldn't control it and that was the end of that. In the 8th grade, we were getting seat assignments and he said "this is a pretty cool group, except for *points in my direction*". The first thing that came to mind five years later when I heard he died was "WHO'S COOLER NOW?". Twisted Evil Cool Laughing

And here I thought I was the only one who did that. Twisted Evil It's amusing to see what kind of crap my peers have gotten themselves into. I can't help but feel a little schadenfreude.

Kids who sit at my table during lunch call me stupid because of my bad sloppy speech. Then I said the noise in here is ravaging my thought process. They had no idea what I was talking about. They were to stupid know what I said. Laughing

I have been bullied before but not physically. Whenever I have been or am bullied it is verbal, but that is bad enough. In Year 7 I did a presentation about AS to my class who stopped teasing me for a while, but I said that I easily get upset. People make fun of me a bit but I think they have forgotton about me having AS. I might be doing another presentation soon, since now my class are in Year 9 and it might help. I just don't want the classmates making fun of me and taking my weaknesses as an advantage. Afterall, at least I have an advantage of having 20-30% more logic than they do! Smile

I hardly see what the point is of someone worrying about/butting into something that has nothing to do with them anyway, and only make a big fuss over it for the sake of teasing or bullying.

hi, bullying has always been a problem lets start at age 5. when i was starting school in the first weeks worth of lunch times i managed to get detention for it. this dident bother me because i liked lines and it seemed more cooler them being out in the play grond pretending i care about the other kids. so what happened in the first week was that the first thing i saw was a couple of kids in the beth room throwing toilt paper on the roof and i thorfght it was fun so i asked if this was alowed they said yes. i continued doing it untill there was a inch thinck of toilt paper on the roof the care taker came in the rest of the kids ran but i was left there still doing it. the seccond time was when a boy ran around telling me to trip him up i said sure and did it he cryed and i was left with the punish ment again as i explaned why the teacher ruffly said that i shouldent have done it but i did. the next time was my last strick untill my pearents came to school. so i dident talk to the other kids or do any thing but then some one was playing down the bank and it was agansed school rules to play around there but i did it any way because i thorght it was alright the other kids knew to run but i dident so yet again i was left with the punishment because every one knew i would get the punish ment in stead of them. later i just sot in to fights untill now when i think people r trying to bully me i punch them. but then if i get in to fights i get in troble for other peoples wrongs but now my mum gets my teachers to read books abot AS so i dont get in to so much trouble as i used to.
