The official US Final Fantasy IV DS website has released this video. I am hoping that the final game will not be Japanese voices with English subtitles, because I'll be seriously pissed off if they are. _________________ I'm more of a "good for Dave" kinda guy. There may be the option to choose the language of the voices. Because if they are subbed then how is that any different from going through text screens.
And Cecil's sword looks suspiciously like the Master sword. _________________ Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus and Aspies are from Wrong Planet.

I don't mind the subs. The japanese voices sound pretty good.
(Then again, this looks a lot like the original Japanese trailer, just re-edited and subbed so it may not even be showing the final US product)
I've played half way through the Japanese release and it is a really nice game so I will be picking it up when it gets released. _________________ Current obsessions: Berserk

This is not a video from the game, it's a promotional video.
The actual game is regular text just like the original game was, and some of the more important scenes have voice acting in addition to the text.
Judging by Crystal Chronicles for DS, they will redub the game.
Personally, I don't care too much for the DS remake. I'm sticking with the GBA one, despite its flaws. _________________ How wonderful to be so profound.

I have Final Fantasy IV for the GBA, so it is unlikely that I am going to be buying this version anyway...and I'm still waiting to get enough money for Final Fantasy VI (also a GBA remake) and New Super Mario Bros!

I hope it has subtiles because alot of the time american voice overs aren't that great. I mean I wouldn't mind it either way I speak and read both languages. _________________ Ever since I was small, I've felt different from the others... special in some way. But not like this...

Considering how hard it was to find FFVI for GBA, I'm waiting until FFIV on DS comes out. Apparantly it has extra scenes that weren't in the original. _________________ Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus and Aspies are from Wrong Planet.

Hmmm... KluYa and Kain's voices are very good, but I dunno about Rosa. Cecil is alright, but I'll reserve judgement till later. _________________ I'm more of a "good for Dave" kinda guy. And feeding people to dragons is good for Dave.

That's good news, so it won't be subbed after all. _________________ Men are from Mars, Women are from Venus and Aspies are from Wrong Planet.

...and Liam O'Brien had played the brief role of Red XIII in Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children, along with Illidan Stormrage from World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade and Sanctus from Devil May Cry 4.
Oh, and Liam O'Brien is also the ADR Direction and English script adaptor for Naruto, as well as playing Gaara and Kotetsu Hagane. _________________ I'm more of a "good for Dave" kinda guy. And feeding people to dragons is good for Dave.

Like I said, only the important scenes have voice acting, and even those still have the text, so technically it is subbed. _________________ How wonderful to be so profound.
