| Welcome! I am new here too! My son will be 16 in 2 months and was just diagnosed with Asperger's 2 months ago. Where are you from? Maybe you can help us.This is all new to us but when he read the book Freeks, geeks & Asperger's he said "mom this is me" I just broke my heart that no one including his father and me didn't see it. We just thought he was a loner. Now it all makes sense. If its okay, I would love to have you talk with him. I am so appreciative of this site. It so good to know we are not alone! God Bless you! |

Welcome to WP, I hope you meet people you can share experiences, advice, opinions and stories with. I haven't been here long but I have found most people to be very nice.
I have had numerous psych issues over the years, I have read a bit about AS and believe I have it. My online tests score pretty high although I haven't sought a diagnosis yet.
I love watching stand-up comedy also, although I am much too scared to try because people find me boring, monotoned and my jokes aren't as funny when I tell them as when they stay in my head.
I like video games too, I have a Wii and that is enough to keep me entertained.
