Funny. If a dog was able to talk, I would be in line to listen to what it says. Perhaps it could be something as revealing as Balaam's, or Muhammad's donkey. It could even be like the dog Caitanya enlightened! Don't tell me you wouldn't want to listen to what it had to say?

Hmm, I feel a bit nervous jumping in here, since things are starting to get a bit heated, but here goes nothing.
IMO it is impossible to have something that is both omnipotent and eternal. If it is omnipotent, then it cannot be eternal, as it can destroy itself. If it is eternal, then it cannot be omnipotent, for there is something it cannot do. One negates the other, and so trying to imagine it leads to a sort of logical Ouroboros.
From what I understand from my passing knowlege of Eastern Philosophy, this is actually a fairly good description of the divine. Buddha is the mind and Buddha is not the mind, the sound of one hand clapping, and so on. The cognitive dissonance caused by meditating on what logically cannot be is the way to the mind of god (or something like that, I don't really know).
