I'm not easily offended, though I used to be. The slightest thing would set me off, and I'd end up making a double fool of myself. Getting teased plus taking it the wrong way made me an easier target for teasing, but I saved myself by sometimes teasing back, or coming up with a quick witty retort.

If someone makes a personal remark, it's different. I don't mind harmless teasing and I love banter, but malicious personal comments are different. However, I've had plenty of those so they don't affect me much anymore. If someone says I've got a huge nose, I'd offer them to measure it. Some comments reflect more on those who make them than those who they're used against.

Yes, I do too. I've been married for years but I still can't tell when my husband's joking as he's got a deapan delivery (doesn't laugh). He has to say quickly 'I'm joking' before I rip off his head Laughing
I never know when people are joking so I usually think they're taking the p*ss. So yes, I'm easily offended. I get out my wax doll and extra long pins Shocked

Oh okay, I thought she really was sick. I still wouldn't feed someone toilet water though even so.

AGMorehouse, yes I tend to get easily offended especially when various persons tend to take the notion that just cause, I tend to act in an unorthodox manner that, that somehow implies I'm mentally retarded.Come on ladies and gentlemen there are many people out there in the spectrum that do things in differening ways but, there is no need to make negative insults..

Yes. Just one little thing can throw me over the edge. I have LEFT several message boards because someone was a little rude when they responded to my post. People who know me in real life know not to cross me because they are afraid of how I will react.
